:o I still watch this on Challenge TV. I actually remember when I started watching it, it was one of the children's specials and then I used to watch it every Thursday evening before the weekend :D

My aim in life was to go in the Crystal Dome...surely must be one of the hardest challenges on TV; considering the number of shows and the time some of the groups had hardly anyone ever won anything more than a crystal.

It was so fucking fiddly! Some of the challenges were SO hard too!
Me three! I loved the little catapult one they had, but the shaker thing with all the gold/silver cards in it was RUBBISH.

I think I used the box later on to hide... erm... certain ilicit "literature" from my mother later on though...

I liked the one where they had a remote control buggy, but Medievil was coolest...


THe Childrens specials were CRAP. They ALWAYS gave them the prize even if they DIDN'T win:oi:...


I really wanted one of those Crystals in the Jewelry Boxes they gave out at the end of every show:shy:

I used to love this! I used to watch it every Thursday after I got back from Judo :D
I loved the Aztec and Medievil. I HATED the Futeristic zone where there was a meteor shower ever 5 BLOODY SECONDS.
There were way too many automatic lock ins there aswell.
I was always really scared of that one in the futeristic one with the spider web which you couldn't shake too much. I thought the spider would come alive if they shook it too much! Imagine being locked in there!

I particularly liked the futility of the final game where the fan wasn't nearly powerful enough to scatter the tokens around the crystal.

I loved this when good ol' Richard O'Brien was doing it but it went downhill when they brought in Ed Tudorpole (from Tenpole Tudor - best (and only record) Swords of a Thousand Men - if that was them).
