According to the advert in Heat it was out on Monday, but neither the Virgin or HMV near to where I work are stocking it - mind you they are both crappy little shops. Is it out next week then?

Yep. She was wearing a lovely top, and her hair was the cool frizzy one from the "If" video.
Also the year she won Best Female Video for "If".

I don't have a Woolworth's anywhere near work!! There's one at home, but by the time I get home it's long closed. I might have to have a "doctor's appointment" tomorrow morning and see if they're stocking it. I tried WH Smiths at lunchtime, but it was to no avail.

I LOVED that peformance! That was back when she was effortlessly cool AND sexy. She tries way too hard nowadays.

My Woolworths is only a "Local". It's only slightly bigger than a corner shop!! I don't hold out much hope of them having it. I really miss living in Walthamstow at times like this. At least my Woolies there was HUGE!

I likd the Go Deep video, cos it rripped off the Smashing Pumpkins
Good tough
I like that song
She looked good int the Son of a Gun video
And why a remix of STML? With that whiny voice bug eyed Jermaine Dupri on it

That was mainly because "STCML" despite doing really well on our pop radio stations here, did completely NOTHING on urban r&b stations. They shipped out the remix and the song still flopped on urban stations.
"Someone To Call My Lover" is utterly gorgeous though.

Thinking about it now, I stopped thinking of her as being "sexy" from "The Velvet Rope" album onwards. There were brief moments in the "All For You" tour DVD where I thought she was, but by and large it was all forced and false.

Everything off "Damita Jo" was a flop here. Even "Son Of A Gun" was a bigger hit than all of them.

Much like Madge then
I wonder why
Maybe she should duet with Usher

*agrees 100%* Definitely one of my all-time favourite Janet songs. I wish I'd saved my Janet Top 50 countdown thread from dotmusic now. It could do with a complete overhaul. Perhaps I should do another one from scratch in here? *ponders a wee while*

Options:
A - Had she sent out the REAL amazing original video for "American Life", the song would have been a MUCH bigger hit than it was.
B - She should have released some of the much more commercial remixes of American Life as the lead single
C - Hollywood really should have been the lead single. Nothing different than "Music", and it's a very great enjoyable song.

You really should do it over. I'm sure it's FAR different after the concert you saw almost 3 weeks ago.

OOH that could be something to do this evening.
*tumbleweeds*
I may do it song by song this time, instead of xommenting on 10 songs at a time.

I don't think my Janet one generated that much interest on dot either. There were a couple of comments, but they were along the lines of "Why haven't you included such-and-such a track", or "I can't believe Rhythm Nation isn't in your top twenty."
Honestly, you go to all that trouble and the end result is just indifference!

I'll do Janice and you do Madge. Ooh...except I'm "entertaining" tonight. I don't think he'd be impressed with me sitting there with a paper and pen trying to compile a Janet Jackson Top 50!! We'd probably never make it to a third date!

'Doesn't Really Matter' isn't on the DVD either and although apparently the 'R&B Junkie' was already shot they haven't included it.
