Massive Attack's Blue Lines is my second favourite album of all time.... great vibe to it.
Portishead's second is much better than their first I think - less dinner party more freakshow.
And of course DJ Shadow's 'Entroducing'...

Yes, I got mine from Amazon for £13 ... Hooj fell foul to the post Sept 11 economy and have now shut down. Hooj releases are now becoming like gold dust. Better snap up their goodies while you can. I'm hoping that all my vinyl copies of their albums go nicely up in price in a year or two! ;)
I made sure I got their releases on both vinyl and CD.

Oh yes, I saw all that, its just surprising that in a short amount of time, the price has SHOT up on Amazon from £13! Worth every penny though, a fine DJ mix, blows all the competition out of the water. PERFECT for summer. Shows the likes of Hed Kandi how to do a REAL slinky compilation.

Tell me what you think of it!
To my DJ ears its just sublime. Some of the mixing on Disc 2 was gorgeous, vocals and melodies from other tracks coming back in and out throughout the mix.
My highpoints:
Disc 1 - Blue Monday/Sunglasses At Night mash up, halfway through Hear My People when it goes all nice and wibbly ... reminds me of Jaxx at their best, Blue Effect - Skybound ... if you're going to do UK Garage beats this is how to do it ... utterly dreamy, Swag - Pong ... love this track.
Disc 2 - the mix out of the gorgeous Breathe ... it starts at something like 3:03 ... keeps the lovely mood of Breathe going and then brings in the vocals and beats of People Come Runnin' ... perfect, Herbert - The Audience ... love the way it moves from clicky mad house into gorgeous pianos and the like and then you get a wicked mix when Smoov comes in ... the vocals from The Audience carry on for ages PLUS he keeps bringing them back in later in the mix. The Microman and Charles Webster outro is nice too.
Disc 3 - literally all of it! yep, all gorgeous chill.
