Jet Lead ARIA Nominations
By Paul Cashmere
17 September 2004
Jet have taken the lead as favourite for the 2004 ARIA Awards by scooping up 7 nominations including Best Group, Best Rock Album and Best Group.
Out of the 7 nominations, the one we know they won't win is Biggest Selling Album. With Delta Goodrem's 'Innocent Eyes' selling more than a million units, it is a farce to even consider the award.
Pete Murray and John Butler Trio achieved five nominations each. Eskimo Joe, Missy Higgins, The Cat Empire and Delta Goodrem are all up for four. Kasey Chambers, Dan Kelly and the Alpha Males, Dallas Crane and The Dissocitives all made three nominations.
