Publicity Stunt, don't they always have 2 on the final day?

Am I the only one who thought he was a complete tosser?

Good riddance.

But you're posh ;)
Can someone explain why the type of people that watch this prog, would be offended by his fucking cunts outburst??
I thought it was hilarious, that'll teach ITV. I loved the way Ant was trying not to piss himself while Dec was apologising!

No. For the first series, they had 2 contestants on the final day (but then they only had eight contestants overall and the series ran a day shorted). For the second series, there were three contestants left on the final day.

Anyway, this is crap news. He was my favourite. And a bit selfish of him in a way, seeing as he's there to raise money for a charity. Surely he could have managed a few more days?

Well, Kerry to win now ..... and I think she will.

Updated odds - Lord Brocket is now favourite, but is only slightly ahead of Kerry. Jordan's odds have drifted.

Lord Brocket - 13/8
Kerry - 9/4
Jordan - 9/2
Peter - 10/1
Alex - 20/1
Jennie - 28/1

If Kerry gets to do another Bushtucker Trial, then that'll help increase her chances of winning tenfold.

Unfortunately, I don't think any of the evictees will nominate her to do one.

There will be no eviction tonight. ITV are hoping that John Lydon will do an interview tonight, but it's not been confirmed yet.

I do like Kerry now. Especially after all those cute faces she was pulling when eating those bugs on the Bushtucker trial. The way she clapped her hands as she ate was so cute!

I think people like the way she's toughened up during the time on the show. She started of as a simpering wreck, but has progressively become stronger and willing to throw herself into the tasks and challenges.

The audience love to see contestants on these type of shows go through a personal journey, which is what's happened to Kerry.

HOORAY!!! Kerry has now topped the viewers poll on This Morning with 50% of the vote!

If you say so......

But she's now done 2 Bushtucker Trials, threw herself into collecting the chest with Peter last night, no longer sits around crying and moaning about how hard it is, cracks jokes, is well liked around the camp and shows enthusiasm in assisting maintaining the camp.

I guess she can see the light at the end of the tunnel then, or the editing has changed, who knows what we lose or gain in the edit, and I want Andre out, he really is an embarassment to Mankind!

apparantly hes walked back IN again now

Joey
05-02-2004, 03:34 PM
Where did you hear that? Have you got a link?

Once someone's walked, they're not allowed back in. ITV said thisi morning that he wouldn't be allowed back in, even if he wanted to.

He probably went for a pizza.

I heard it on Power Fm news at lunch time...not sure how reliable it is, but they said he just walked back....

I'm a Celebrity producers have confirmed John Lydon has quit the TV show and will not be allowed back into the jungle camp.

ITV bosses have refused to reveal the reasons for his decision to leave and are currently deciding whether to go ahead with tonight's eviction, or put it off until Friday.

The former Sex Pistol announced he wanted out at 12.30pm local time (2.30am British time) and left the camp after hugging his fellow contestants.

Programme bosses lowered the drawbridge that separates the jungle camp from the outside world and let him out.

A spokeswoman for the ITV show would not discuss the reasons for Lydon's departure - but they will be disclosed on tonight's programme.

It is hoped that the 48-year-old former punk will also appear to tell presenters Ant and Dec why he decided to quit.

In a statement, ITV said: "He has been fantastic entertainment on the show and viewers and his fellow celebrities have found him to be an endearing, eccentric and sensitive character. We respect his decision to quit and hope we haven't seen the last of him."

But even if Lydon changes his mind about being on the show, he will not be allowed back in to the camp.

He will not be replaced by a stand-in celebrity, the spokeswoman said.

Lydon's decision to quit came hours after producers told him off for swearing on live TV.

ITV have confirmed he will NOT be let back in, according to Ananova

Joey

And they've also confirmed now that there won't be an eviction tonight.

David

Well that's gonna kill the calls for tonight... I'm sorry, but if you're gonna sign up for something like that, at least have the balls to see it through...

My point exactly!

Not only will the charity that he was supporting suffer as a result of him walking out, but so will all the charities that the remaining contestants are supporting.

Maybe the contestants should donate the 100k each celebrity gets for 7-14 days "work"?
Or maybe ITV should not as big a cut as they do of the phonecalls, especially as they get the advertising money as well. Did they actually reveal how much was raised for charity the last 2 years?

You honestly think that the likes of Peter Andre don't NEED that money?

Joey

Kerry and Lord Brockett are now joint favourites with most bookmakers with odds of around 13/8.

Jordans odds have slipped, with some bookies giving her odds of 6/1.
