Got the local paper through today to find out she was born in my home town. Never heard of her until I saw this thread.

She was apparently 'The first lady of fleet street'

She was the one that wrote a whole spread on how horrible Princess Diana was the day before her death and then did a tribute the next day LOL.

She was also very homophobic. Middle England at it's "finest"

Whilst I wouldn't wish her dead she was an old witch who was one of my very least favourite newspaper columnists. I certainly shan't be shedding any tears.
