How would you vote? It'd be interesting to see the political views of some people in here...
I wouldn't like to reveal my political views on here

Lib Dem I'd guess. If Green stand locally I might them, but they don't usually. Our Lib Dem MP is a CUNT mind... I despise the tories and think Tony Blair is a past it KNOB

My vote, if I were old enough, would belong to the Green Party I reckon... Labour have had their chance enough times and I can't STAND Michael fucking Howard....

Liberal Democrat. They got my vote last time, and would easily get my vote next time.

After reading this thread, I'm no longer surprised with Joey's score in that political compass test.
If there was an election tomorrow, I don't think I could bring myself to vote for anyone, so I'd spoil the paper, as I don't believe in not voting, and I think at least that makes a statement.

Why not just stay at home?

Conservative without doubt.

I'd probably vote Labour or Lib Dem, probably the latter as Labour never come close to getting in where I live...

I will vote tactically to prevent a Conservative Government getting in so it will depend where I'm living. Ideally, I'd vote Lib Dem.

Well, yes.
But if you're going to make the effort and go to the Polling Station merely just to spoil your ballot paper, why not just stay at home instead? It's the same result ..... you have voted for no-one in both instances.

Probably Labour. Lib Dem if it was a safe seat, just so I could feel good about myself...

I just think spoiling a paper (by writing CUNT after all the candidates, obviously ;) ) is making more of a statement than not voting.
Besides, the polling station is right on my way to work. It's hardly hard work!

Lolly is making a statement Joey, rather than being apathetic.
I'd vote Lib Dem, as I have the last few times, anything to keep the Tories out of our seat, and out of government. I have been labour thru and thru, but very disillusioned with Blair at the mo.

I really cannot reconcile with the Anything-But-Conservative attitude. REALLY. Basing current political preferences on actions of people in decades gone by is beyond foolish. Right now, I suspect I'd vote Lib Dem, but not because I'm anti-Tory, but because the current Tory party is pretty poor, which is quite different.

decades gone by, I might have hated Thatcher for what she did, but I also hated Major, the bald one from oop north and the other one who nobody remembers.:grr:
Plus I like the Lib Dems as they have yellow rosettes.

Yeah, but why should that mean you'd never vote blue?
I mean, if you're prepared to go by colour..

That was a joke;) I voted blue last election, but he says he runs the labour party. There is very little diff between those 2, I expect the Tories have a few more right wing views they are trying to keep under wraps.
Bout time the Libs had a go I reckon.
But judging from comments, I reckon, the next election will have one of the lowest turnouts, especially if it is a rainy day. When is the next one due?

May 5th, 2005.

Time for Blair to recoup some dignity and votes then, is that date set, or can Blair call it earlier/later if need be??

It'll be either May 2005 or 2006.

I'd vote Tory (ANYTHING but Labour), the only problem being that my MP is Michael Meacher, who is one of those rare things - a good Labour MP. He was very knowledgable in his role as Environment Minister, sticks to his principles and doesn't bow to party pressure. If he was a Tory he'd be damn near flawless.
