After reading this thread, I'm no longer surprised with Joey's score in that political compass test.

If there was an election tomorrow, I don't think I could bring myself to vote for anyone, so I'd spoil the paper, as I don't believe in not voting, and I think at least that makes a statement.

I just think spoiling a paper (by writing CUNT after all the candidates, obviously ;) ) is making more of a statement than not voting.

Besides, the polling station is right on my way to work. It's hardly hard work!

I'd vote Lib Dem, as I have the last few times, anything to keep the Tories out of our seat, and out of government. I have been labour thru and thru, but very disillusioned with Blair at the mo.

I really cannot reconcile with the Anything-But-Conservative attitude. REALLY. Basing current political preferences on actions of people in decades gone by is beyond foolish. Right now, I suspect I'd vote Lib Dem, but not because I'm anti-Tory, but because the current Tory party is pretty poor, which is quite different.

That was a joke;) I voted blue last election, but he says he runs the labour party. There is very little diff between those 2, I expect the Tories have a few more right wing views they are trying to keep under wraps.

I'd vote Tory (ANYTHING but Labour), the only problem being that my MP is Michael Meacher, who is one of those rare things - a good Labour MP. He was very knowledgable in his role as Environment Minister, sticks to his principles and doesn't bow to party pressure. If he was a Tory he'd be damn near flawless.
