Why mess up the THEME so far?!
But yeah, I will only be buying up to Season 10... so that works out okay!

Ugh, looks nice there but won't go on my shelf very well.
Are they all being released at once? I'm just desperate for Season 6. If they come out at the same time I'll wait for the sales for the others.

No, they're not being released at the same time. Season 6 is released in a couple of weeks and Season 7 is rumoured for some time in December.

Maybe I'll just go with the regular covers, if they do get released too.

Well there is a way you can get an original style cover by calling a number that comes with the boxset on the R1 set but only available to residents in the US and Canada. I would imagine the same will happen when it's released here.

Series 10 out this week. I still really enjoy it up to this point, I think from about 11-12 the quality noticably dips.
OT: POOR UTER :(

Love the use of Radiohead in that clip! :D
I've never seen the need to get it on DVD what with BBC2 and C4... I feel I know Camp Krusty and Who Shot Mr Burns? inside out!

And the one where Homer meets his mother. The episode where he fakes his death.

Aww, I love the episode with Homers mum. The end is so sweet.
Also Lisa's line. "You said rapport! You didn't dumb it down!" *Tears well up*

Ive got the first four series and have watched them once and that was it.
Maybe one day I'll carry on but yes, I don't feel the need with them being so overly familiar....
That's one of my favourites... especially that final DOH at the end :(

Is there any indication over how the box art will proceed from here? I've got the first 5 in the standard packaging but the next 5 as the "limited edition" (HA!) heads. Will they continue that or revert back to a single format?

I've got all but season 10, how many are there? 19?
Oh i've been looking forward to this for some time. Although I never buy them when they first come out. No way i'm paying £40.
I own 1-9 and watch them frequently. They're usually good for putting on to wind down before going to sleep.

You're probably not desperate for it but if anyone is put off by the price, it's only £22.97 in Asda which, for this set of episodes (i.e. before it went shit) is quite reasonable I think.

ooh that's GOOD.
I dont think I would ever pay £40, but on Play.com it's nearly always about £28 on release. Might just wait until Xmas and get it for £20 inevitably
£22.97 IS good. If I had a monthly income i'd buy it :(

Going off on a tangent somewhat but Asda is really good for TV boxsets at the moment. If you have a tendency to buy them (as I do) then they're really very cheap in comparison to the typical DVD retailers, and they have a dedicated section for them unlike the other supermarkets.
I don't think anywhere is asking £40 for this. It's £29.95 in HMV and Virgin.
