I'd quite like that version, if it wasn't for the fact that it's so OTT. Had they employed a little more subtlety, it could have worked a treat.

Anyway, yes. Whenever I have a KILL CELINE moment, I think of this one. And quite a few of her later midtempo ones do it for me as well. I started liking her again when the rest of the UK lost interest.

STUNNING song - it reminds me of driving through Paris on my first business trip there. We were going along in a cab in the sunshine and it came on the radio... Don't like the choir version at all. Totally overpowers it.

I put it there along with the Tina Arena song which got the same treatment (it's from an entire album of much the same thing called '500 Choristes'). That seems to work much better. Maybe because I'm not as familiar with the original.

I didn't mind the choir version all that much but much prefer the original. The Tina Arena song worked much better, though like Christian said, that could well be because I'm not as familar with "Aller plus haut" as I am with "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" which would definitely be one of my favourite Celine songs.
