FUCK, my DVD player has carked it. RIP. Need new one.

I suppose it's lasted a good 6-7 years. Twas the first 5 star rated mid-price player in What Hi-Fi? mag too, but alas my Sony S735D is no more.

I've spent SO much money this month but I simply can't do without a DVD player. Of course it must be multi-region, and I rather like the use of our one with a hard-drive downstairs. I'm gonna go for my faithful Richer Sounds, since it means not having to order online and wait for a delivery.

No, because the cheapy brands don't generally do hard drive recorders (but we have a LiteOn one downstairs which is good), and the good name brands aren't remote-hackable.

Anyway, I rushed off to Richer Sounds and bought the 80GB Panasonic one. TEMPTED at that 400GB one but I don't need that much - although it was hard to pass up since you can link it to your computer and directly edit and record mpegs and avi files.

My GOD the manual is tough to figure out :zombie: And it's not as easy hooking it up to the Freeview box as it is with our other one.
