To be fair your strikers were shit for most of the season. They've done the right thing in getting rid of Morientes, and Sinama-Pongolle I reckon will never get anywhere if he stays so he might as well go to Blackburn permanently. Crouch and Fowler are your best pairing at the moment, and you need to get a quality striker in to boost them and Cisse. Your defence is sound - and once you have a consistent choice at left-back instead of the shuffling at the moment it'll be perfect. I'd say get Warnock in there and push Riise up into left midfield where he can be more attacking, with Kewell, Alonso and Gerrard, and super-sub Luis Garcia. Get rid of Traore as well and voila.
