View Full Version : can i just have a little rant about MEN please?
i've been posting in a thread on gurn about decorating and how excited i was about choosing kitchens from the moben catalogue when some CUNT called "paultheplasterer" comes on and starts giving it the big one about moben being for "social climbers" and that i should run along and put the kettle on....
WELL OUT OF ORDER.
anyway, i post a reply which basically tells him to fuck off and that i pay people like him to fit my kitchens and now all hell has broken lose and massive amounts of rolleye smiles banded about at ME for being a snob.
FUCK OFF. why is it ok for a bloke to have a pop at me but the minute i stick up for myself i'm automatically a cunt?
same goes for if you get wolf whistled and you roll your eyes or if you ignore a massive group of builders giving you the eye... they just turn round and tell you you're ugly.

It doesn't sound like a man-woman issue, more like a class issue one. Paultheplasterer is out of order anyway.

Pull the good ones over here!
We need to flesh out the dance forum anyway.
even the music forum over there pisses me off.
if i post about new music i get jealous wankers having a go at me for "showing off" about getting new stuff on promo. it's gash to be honest.
they're all far to jaded and up their own arses for here. they wouldn't know what's hit them.

OOH YES!!
Emma is EMBARASSED about us.
of course not.
if that lot pulled their heads out of their arses they could have the banter we have over here.... like it USED to be on gurn before it imploded.
Ugh people like that are not worth the energy of stressing about
I just like to hope that they get their comeuppance some day

I think Ikea might do some kitchen units that look alot like that if you can bear trawling your arse around there of a Saturday. I know this because my parents recently fitted a new kitchen.
Hello girly forum btw! (I'm trespassing)
i went to ikea last night - the trouble with their stuff is that it's all non standard sizes so you pretty much have to get everything of theirs.
it all looked a bit cheap and nasty to me. i have to say - our budget does allow us to go a bit better than ikea. I've seen a couple on B&Q but to be honest it's all a bit overwhelming. there's too much to choose from!

Whatever happens, just make sure you don't go with some shonky unheard of company who you like the look of their advert a la my parents. Their kitchen is still not right over a year on. Lovely kitchen with granite worktops and the like, but they never delivered the all the right units even after about 6 attempts. Go with reputation.
I love a trip round Ikea :D

It's like going round the 7 circles of HELL, always following the arrows to get out and never getting there.

Smeg fridges are brilliant. Only problem is you have to make sure when you order you say whch way you wan tthe door to hang as you can't change it like a normal fridge.

oh and whilst i'm here - lets depreciate men who only want TEXT relationships! :Oi:
Are they all ex CRASHER kids?
blatantly - first they liked trance, then they liked hard house, then they liked funky, then they liked breaks etc...
and they say i'm jumping on the minimal bandwagon. but what they don't realise is that i've been listening to this sort of stuff for years but i've had no one to harp on about it to.
they're blatantly jealous that i get all the wicked promos 2 months before they do.
LOSERS.
