http://www.honestyshop.co.uk/honestyshop/ProductsByCategory.asp?intCatalogID=42&strCatalog_NAME=Tampons
same price as regular but chlorine free and made with organic "stuff"
i'm going to get some. i've always been well suspicious of tampax and mainstream brands. plus i like to do my bit for the enviromnent innit.
This topic title made me laugh...sorry just had to say that. CARRY ON!
£2.50 delivery? :Oi: Maybe next time I'm in Derbyshire...
you can get them in waitrose and fresh and wild apparently.

Just out of interest, how much do tampons cost?
I'll bet if men needed them, they would have been free on the NHS YEARS ago.
I don't really notice :shy:

Well I guess if you have to have them, the price is irrelevant
a few quid - actually i have no idea. it's just the kind of thing you buy without thinking about it.
ACTUALLY i had a bit of a situation the other day. we've demolished the bathroom ready to get the new one put in and ed kindly THREW AWAY an entire box of tampax RIGHT in the middle of my needing them. i was NOT best pleased. although i've seen the funny side of it now.
TSK
Oh I hope these organic tampons have handbag-proof covers
haha, Ed told me off for buying the compact ones - he said the plastic applicators are outrageously wasteful and bad for the environment.
Well, tampons coming out of their packets and getting all grubby is bad for your MINGE.
i've started to get lillets non applicators. they are more discreet in your handbag.

i don't see the point of applicator ones.
that website looks good, and their stuff is BUAV approved. :D

Well they mean you don't have to stick your fingers up there... :gross:

But your fingers still touch it, and still have to wash your hands the same. What's the problem?

it's fun to soak tampons in the toilet water and throw them up on the ceiling at work... eventually some poor unsuspecting girl finds one falling on her head when it dries up :D
No problem, I just prefer not to have to go ALL the way up there... especially when my nails are long

i s'pose it's just what i was started on, so i've never thought of changing.

If you really want to be environmentally friendly you need ones of those cups things.
VILE.
I like Lil-lets applicator ones. I prefer width ways to length expansion. Hahaha, as if I am discussing the merits of TAMPONS.
Anyways, whilst we are on the subject. TOWELS. Disgusting. I just don't agree with them AT ALL.

WHY would anyone OPT to squidge around in their period blood??
