i don't like them. they don't cleanse as well and they're bad for the environment. i use a facial sponge and cleanser; MUCH better.
I only use them when I'm on holiday... otherwise it's cotton pads and cleanser/make-up remover
i put them in my paper recycling bin - they never get flushed.
i love them - i don't think i could live without them.

hmm, i wouldn't have thought you can recycle them as paper.
sure you can.
a good friend of mine edits a recycling magazine and he said you can put them in your paper recycling.
it all gets pulped up and bleached before it can be made back into paper anyway

INteresting. i was under the impression that non-listed items put in recycling collections 'contaminated' it and often meant the whole lot would be dumped. They should list more stuff if they can actually recycle it.

I don't like them either. I've got really sensitive skin and they just FEEL like they're doing your skin harm...
That said they*are* good when you're completely exhausted and in no fit state to try and take off make up properly...

I've found some cheapie ones - Witch - that are really kind and good for the complexion and I have allergies and all sorts.
i've got an ARRAY of them - cucumber ones, nivea ones, tea tree ones. i just LOVE THEM
