They won't get anywhere NEAR that amount of time and space against Ecuador and Poland though ... I can see that becoming a major problem for them.

Indeed. The Costa Ricans really were a mess defensively. Germany were afforded far too much time and space, so in that respect it's a bit difficult to say just how good an attacking side they are. Furthermore, even against a side like Poland who aren't exactly world beaters they can't afford to defend like that, though if they're sensible they won't operate so far up the pitch against more competent sides.

Germany was QUITE SHIT yesterday, letting the painfully weak Costa Rica score twice? What a messy team, the defense line was awfully done. Germany needs to improve badly if it wants to go any further. And YAY ECUADOR, what a delightful surprise. Poland was shit and is heading home soon.
