France isn't on tonight is it? I thought it was Mexico V Iran. But yes, the same priniciple still follows that the majority of the world will be cheering on the Koreans :D

To be fair though, I don't think Argentina looked THAT bad in the first game ... just that Ivory Coast tended to run them ragged. Ivory Coast are kind of like Cameroon in World Cup 1990. People don't actually realise how GREAT they are until it's all over.

I thought the Argies looked pretty decent against the Ivory Coast to be fair (who I reckon might give the Dutch a run for their money in about half an hour)... they were a different class today though...
So far Argentina, Spain and the Czechs have been the best sides, but I suppose there's always the danger of peaking too soon.
The French have the impressive record of having not scored since '98 to maintain... GO SOUTH KOREA

The holders don't actually get automatic qualification anymore anyway (as of 2002). Brazil had to qualify for this one

Actually, Euro 2008's a bity strange with regard to S&M. They split as footballing nations after the World Cup but the draw for Euro 2008 qualification has already been made (with them being drawn as S&M obviously)... HMM
