My WMP won't burn CD's anymore and I don't know why.

It keeps coming up with a message saying 'interface not registered' and when I go to help its not giving me any help AT ALL.

Any ideas?

Or can anyone recommend a some good (free) software?

Sounds like it's stopped recognising your CD drive as a CD-rewriter. Can you burn any other way like through windows? Also try finding some drivers for the CD drive. They might give it a kick start.

Whilst we are on the subject of computer help...can someone help me!

I was on moopy last night and suddenly my internet shut down and when i ent back on my home page had changed to an Internet Secuity site, and its telling me ive been infected with a critical virus.

Im scared! It wont let me change my home page back or anything, ive only just wiped the whole thing, how can i suddenly have a virus!!

And when i go onto another website it wont load, it just says "hacking attempt"

Well I can say that I have never had one in the 2 years i've had mine. I think they're a possibility it's just that no one bothers to destroy macs.

Isn't AVG a VIRUS checker and not a SPYWARE checker?
