I must say that Hustle is fabulous, if just for Robert Vaughn alone.

BUMP.
Shit almost 6 years. Scary.

Anyway really enjoyed last weeks loved the female detective character added an extra edge.
Also Matt di Angelo was very :horny::shy: which always helps.

It doesn't seem to be flagging much for something which has endured multiple cast chances and is in its sixth series. I really like both Emma and Sean. As ever fucking MICKEY is the weak link but you can't win 'em all. They need to do more with Ash too.

I drifted away from it around series 4, or at least I think I must have done as I can't remember watching any episodes with thingy from So Solid Crew in at all. When series 5 came around though last year I got back into it in a big way, and it was one of the best shows of last year - like Jark, I don't think Adrian Lester is the strongest link but he provides a glue to hold it together. Robert Vaughn is naturally still the best thing about it (underused tonight, even if it was key to the plot), but I think also that Robert Glenister has built up his part from minor background character (in the early episodes all he did was do the behind the scenes stuff) to becoming an integral part of the show.

The first two episodes of this series haven't quite been as strong as last year, but it's still a cut above most other stuff and the extended fantasy scene explaining the con down the various streets was a welcome return to the early days - they do seem to have cut down on that sort of stuff (see also: breaking the fourth wall).

The only thing that really ruined tonight was terrible human being and appalling actor Mark Benton doing his one 'performance' with his usual ineptitude. How he continues to get cast in roles is one of the modern mysteries of the world.

I quite liked Mark Benton in it for the first two minutes or so but MY GOD does he grate. Also the guy who played the police man was also in Waterloo Road and for somebody who lacks any kind of menacing quality it's astounding that he always plays baddies. Total crap. Good episode besides those two though!

Last nights was fab as per. HOWEVER they needed to explain the scene when Matt Di Angelo was handed swimming goggles more I felt. :(

I think the scriptwriter had been watching Jonathan Creek with that melting statue...

Even I worked out they made a switch and guessed ice but didn't know quite HOW they would do it.

I didn't know that the Glennister from this was the brother of Gene Hunt!

Despite it always looking quite good i have only ever watched one episode of Hustle. I think it involved Paul Nichols paragliding, but that might have just been a cheese dream i had. The pretty wooden lady left, didn't she? I liked what i saw of her.

I only just found out yesterday that Robert and Philip were ACTOR BROS too!

At least it was a TWIST on the usual formula, although I'm sure they've used that 'buried treasure' scam before.

I really wish the guest star who plays the mark wasn't always so SHIT. These 'comedic' thick types make a proper mockery of it all!

Oooh this is still on :D what great news as will get on it straight away.
I loved the 1st couple of seasons but then started going out on the nights it was on. I have the first four seasons on my laptop but since it's a UK series I'm completely unaware of when it's on.

A shame, as he was really good in Plus One. I could have done without all that mojo NONSENSE too.

I thought it was pretty shit :( Some funny moments but overall they've camped it up FAR too much over the years. I much preferred when the marks weren't panto villains and the cons were full of twists and turns you couldn't see coming a mile off.

I didn't care for him on EE or Strictly but in this yes, especially all dishevelled at the hands of Hancock. Last night's was the best episode I've seen of this in a while - they really threw the guest stars at it too.

I have really enjoyed this series so far; but yes the last one has been one of the best. I'm quite looking forward to seeing what they will do in the final few episodes
