Registry Cleaners?

SO I'm cleaning up the computer and I know I have lots of random programs and shit that starts up whenever I log on and I don't want it to.

So am I right in thinking that's the registry? And to get it sorted, do I have to BUY further software or can any of you recommend good (free) ways of doing it?

Throw BLEACH ON IT

If you go to 'Start (button) - Programs - Start Up' these are the programs that start when you log on. I THINK you can delete them by right clicking and then they won't start when you log on.

However, that might be wrong so it might be worth seeing if someone disagrees with me! :D

You can definitely download 'crap cleaner' for free. That might help too.
