From what little i've seen of corrie that Sean bloke is far from likeable. Typical 'Soap Opera Gay', ie a mincing embarassment of a queen. Being forced to watch him over Christmas made me CRINGE.

Really ? Normally "soap opera gays" are quite the opposite- they NEVER show the camp side. Instead its always total blandies like Simon Raymond, straight as hell like the one Debbie was in love with in Neighbours, the one in Emmerdale a few years back or the Asian doctor in Enders or confused bisexuals like Tony Hills...

Id say that whilst it is a comedy cliché, a soap opera has NEVER tried to depict a character as being totally poofy in "real life" and, even more so, made him a positive character and not a target of pisstaking

Having said that, Anthony Cotton is a total one trick pony and can only play himself...
