This African slum that Ant & Dec are visiting is rather disturbing:(

Agnetha

Well I'm in, may as well do a topic for it...

Ellie

Why is it that when they visit "Africa" they rarely specify what country it is?

Agnetha

Why is it that when they visit "Africa" they rarely specify what country it is?They're all the same aren't they?

When I'm famous I'm gonna do a VT from Egypt.

Have they said what time Fame Academy is going to be on? I've looked on the website but it doesn't break it down. I can't bear subjecting myself to ALL of it.

Agnetha

Within the next hour APPARENTLY

Agnetha

Ellie

Ugh, more warnings about paedos grooming kids online. If you're so stupid to meet with someone you've met in a random chat room (not forum) and only known for a couple of months, you're just fucking asking for it.

lolly
16-03-2007, 07:47 PM
Well YES, but we are talking about young children. It's easy to say that when you're in your twenties.

lolly
16-03-2007, 07:48 PM
God I've grown to HATE Lenny Henry over the years. When was he last funny?

Ellie
16-03-2007, 07:48 PM
The girl in the VT was 15, wasn't she?

I dunno, when you're younger than that surely your school friends are adequate enough.

I've heard of children as young as 10 being groomed though. Yes, it does seem DAFT, but I can't honestly say if I was that age that I KNOW I wouldn't do it.

Ellie

Maybe we can't understand cos the net wasn't around when we were kids. Though I got the internet very early and I was 14. Didn't even dream of meeting anyone until Dotmusic when I'd properly established a group of people over the space of at least a year first.

Agnetha

Agnetha

Ellie

Kate Thornton looks much better with her hair in a more natural colour like this. That white-blonde thing she had before was gross.

Sebastian Flyte

Agnetha
16-03-2007, 08:16 PM
It's lucky she one funny character.

Hilarity will no doubt ensue

Sebastian Flyte

Is Comic Relief actually now even less funny/entertaining than Children In Need?

Who'd have thought it.

Sebastian Flyte
16-03-2007, 09:07 PM
OH LOL at this Daniel Craig sketch

Ellie
16-03-2007, 09:22 PM

Oh I hate these manipulating clips, "she was going to be a journalist". Just show the footage, any moron will realise it's an awful awful thing. We don't need a smug narrator talking for a person they've clearly never met or known. It's like they think we can't humanise Africans without a handy backstory.
