You need characters like that to brighten up a televised PUB QUIZ.

Well, like her uglier cousin

Last week was hilarious when he had to shush a member of the audience during his run, and that Olaf guy got 11 in a row, but he was so hellbent on beating it, he never saved his run of 7, went back down to 0 and settled on 3 or 4 at the end :D

I spotted CJ, Im not a fan of HIM it must be said, simpering little queen

lolly
28-04-2007, 09:46 PM
That CJ is VILE on every level. The eyebrows alone are enough for me to want to stab him, though.

I've seen him before somewhere. He must have been on millionaire, or 15 to 1 or something.

Ellie
28-04-2007, 09:48 PM
Most of them are serial TV quizzers.

Does he mention on the website that while the others have been on Mastermind and somesuch his claim to fame on quizzes is BRAINTEASER?

Dyonn
28-04-2007, 09:49 PM
and why not, you can win a lot of money. I've been trying to get on millionaire for about 10 years now...

He's just a MORE SUCCESSFUL CWEJ really

Dyonn

I'm better looking though.

I nearly applied for the People's Quiz. I might do next year. It looks like FUN.

If I'd been that Danielle, I'd have told the bloke that he sounded like a pillock and that people should be gracious in victory, not just defeat.

Very odd. But I don't think I'd get picked as the weakest contestant for a while... I think I could make the final actually...

Can I come and sit in the audience with a 'cwej's friend' sticker? :D

i bet you couldn't

even i sit reeling off the answers at home as i hear them (the questions aren't THAT HARD) but i doubt it'd work that well stood up in the studio..

And I've never been in a TV studio to know how it feels and how quickly I can or can't answer questions? :manson:

cwej has quiz show experience though... he only got one question wrong the whole time he was on the Weakest Link! :)

and how often did you win?

yes you won brainteaser (ooh!) but you clearly bottled it on the prize game.

At least CJ won the weakest link

He did? I only remember seeing him lose and be very bitter about it... TWICE!

Indie
28-04-2007, 11:44 PM
that's what he says at the start of eggheads

"I've been a winner on Fifteen to one, Beat the nation and the weakest link"

or something

David
28-04-2007, 11:47 PM
He's only won three quiz shows cause he's been on like 3000!

Indie
28-04-2007, 11:50 PM
and let's face it, he's pretty shit on eggheads too. (no matter how smug he looks when he actually knows the answer)

David
28-04-2007, 11:53 PM
He's someone I'd quite like to punch!

Does that make me a bad person?

Indie

yes

FOUR YEARS AGO. My point is, I got over stage fright, a LONG time ago and you're sitting there saying 'Ooo you might not be as good on TV' as if you're talking to someone who has no experience of being on TV.

My weakest link performance was my worst cos it was my first and I was literally SHAKING from beginning to end. ::shy:

Indie

i imagine it's a completely different experience being stood infront of three people, on your own, surrounded by a fairly chunky studio audience.

all i was saying anyway was that the questions aren't that hard... if you think you can do it, that's fine, but i imagine a lot of other people are thinking the same.

cwej
29-04-2007, 07:04 PM
The difference being 99% of them won't have been on about SIX gameshows before, which was kind of your point... that people will freeze in front of the cameras, which I absolutely do not do any more, though I used to.

CJ always has a queeny look of disgust on his face if he thinks someone has answered an easy question wrong.

He was on 'Without Prejudice' too with Liza Tarbuck.

The hideous creature pops up everywhere
