I've just checked. Things not going TOO BAD this month. Of course, this will be all of my money spent until the 28th but I can always give my body out for a few days to earn some cash.

This is, of course, subject to shipping costs etc. If it ends up being a saving of all of £5 over brand new models, then I may as well sit out and wait for the new Creatives to surface.

I have yet to get it, but I'll report once I start using it. Can't compare because I've never had and iPod.

go to www.dapreview.net and down the right is their selection of top players. There is an EXTENSIVE overview of the Vision M there and a comparison with the ipod too. I think the the Zen outperforms on pretty much all the core elements. Where the iPod succeeds on things like looking thin, or being white.

I sold my Zen today. I couldn't get used to it...i know iPods are rubbish but there are easier (for me anyway) to work around

iPods aren't rubbish in the slightest.

Great design, fantastic interface. QUITE different to a Zen - horses for courses and all THAT.

ipods are good, but lacking in some important areas
New touch screen design to come, so we'll see if this continues to hold true.
I fear clinging to .mov as the video file of choice would be a poor choice, they really need to accept .avi as well. .flac would be nice too.
