Red Dwarf - Series 8: Underrated?

Cassandra is up there with my favourite episodes, and I think Krytie TV, Pete Part 1 and the 1st 2 parts of Back Into The Red are great. Yes the plasticine moments in BITR part 3 are utterly :manson: but overall I don't think the weak episodes are any worse than Terrorform and The Inquisitor from Series 5.

I don't remember much about it. I gave up after Series 7. I never liked how they made it all slick. Weren't there more than 6 episodes too? I bought the DVD for my brother when they were having a store signing a couple of years ago.

I never watched them at the time. I only started watching them when I was unemployed for 5 months at the end of 2003 and ended up staying up until 2am watching TV.

The jump between the pre-rape and post-rape series was really noticeable. The post-rape stuff just wasn't funny.

Yeah, they were funny. Not as good as earlier stuff, no, but had the earlier stuff not existed it would have been funny in it's own right

I barely remember it, except that the end was really weird.

I must be the only person who LIKED the new Kochanski in series 7 though.

Don't remember much of it. Series 5 I think was the pinnacle
