Laptop on XP? [Archive]

I want a hi spec laptop with a small screen (no more than 14" and pref only 12") for gaming and that's no problem, dell do a suitable one but the issue I have is that I don't want it to be Vista, but XP

The only one I found was a build from pcspecialists, but they couldn't do the NVIDIA chip I want.

Eek, any ideas?

Eek, any ideas?Dell will still ship a laptop / PC with XP if you absolutely insist but it won't be for much longer - Microsoft is withdrawing the licence for the likes of Dell to ship XP in a few months time (I read in July).

you're e not going to get that below 15.4" really.

Aside from that, it is possible to find guides and drivers to perform xp installs.

Alienware are the only people doing 8800 at the mo. that starts at about 1500 for a basic 15.4".

I'm getting a ddr3 8600GT.... the only thing that can't handle is Crysis.
