Sheena

What IS this pile of overblown, overdone, overcooked, OVERMIMED crap ?
Rachey

This is kind of shit already
Sheena

You'd have thought she could actually mime CONVINCINGLY by now

Much as I love her, it'd be hard to sit through all this. Everything seems mimed so far SHOCK HORROR.

I cant believe shes actually miming to be honest....why on earth would you PAY to see her mime??
Sheena
03-05-2004, 11:47 AM
Why do people pay to go and see someone stand there and move her mouth to EXACTLY the same vocals as on her records ? I mean, even if she'd re-recorded em it might have been NICE
Joseph

Everytime is live but would have been better off mimed
she keeps cancelling shows since she threw her knee out... I figure she will cancel the rest of the tour sometime soon

Even STEPS mimed to pre-recorded as live vocals.
Sheena

Oh and....i hate artists that pay SO much attention to dancing, and stage antics, spend a fortune on all these "great" special effects etc.....yet dont think to actually sing LIVE!!
id MUCH rather go watch someone stand there with a mic, sing live, sound great, and not fucking jump around trying to impress people with their dance routines

Wrong
While I am under NO illusion that some of Kylie's more energetic songs are pre-recorded, the majority of her live show IS live and she has proven time and again she sings live- it is rare she will mime anywhere on TV....

didn't make myself clear.. I just meant that when she does mime she at least re-records the vocals
which is better than having 2 hours of album versions at least

Yeah. I still think a good 90% of her vocals are live though. The "Fever" tour had fewer energetic dance routines than you would have imagined for that reason precisely...

What the FUCK ? TWO microphones and she still aint singin
Raining On Me

Moopy keeps fucking up for me
And is she not singing this one live? It's at least a pre-recorded live vocal I'd have thought, cos she sounds shitter than usual...

she did that exact same performance on the ABC special I believe.. 2 mics and not a live note in the house
AcerBen

it's pre-recorded but it was probably cleaned up ! And there was no excuse to do it properly live.
Sheena

We all know she sounds mostly shit, but can't she at least attempt ONE show that's 90% live, no matter how diabolical she sounds?
Her "Everytime" live performance on some show was excellent and sounded better than the recorded one, so it's not as if there isn't some potential for a few decent live songs...
Raining On Me

Oh do "Lucky" live as badly as on TOTP, PLEASE...

I keep reading "fan" reviews that go on about how the show they saw WAS live unlike the rest of them
how anyone can mistake this concert as live is beyond belief and I have doubts that she would just decide "Oh I'll do this one with live vocals"
Crash

Well, i think she actually did Everytime live in glasgow on Friday night cause she sounded SHITE and if she pre-recorded live vocals for everytime she sure as hell didnt use them. i was cringing in my seat when she did it. oh here comes everytime...
Crash

Raining On Me
03-05-2004, 12:21 PM
It's got a bit better...sort of.
Why can't she do it like she did on that show? That was live and sounded ACE...
Raining On Me

"Everyone, SCREAM and we'll drown the bitch out.."
