I do.

I only got it a month ago so whatever generation is the newest.

That would be the 2nd Generation Emma.

I have the first one and I love mine too. They're updating the operating system again in a couple of weeks. Apparently you'll be able to download podcasts directly from the iPhone itunes store.

The only thing putting me off is having to change operator from Vodafone to O2. I've been with them for 5 years and reception has been 2nd to none, can get a signal almost anywhere where friends on O2 are toiling.

I changed from orange and I'd been with them since 1998 - I had no qualms about changing. I've found O2 to be fine so far - reception perfect.

Well it's a moot point for me just now anyway as my current contract doesn't run out until September next year and I'm not paying out to request my PAC code to port my number over. I could be tempted by the Blackberry Storm though...

What puts ME off is having to pay for something I have ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR WHATSOEVER

You can probably hack the iPhone. Also by September there will probably be about 1000000 alternatives which do the same but better too.

The new Blackberry does look rather swish actually (even though they've decided to go onscreen keyboard and keep that bizarre 2 letter to each key thing)!

I thought the iPhone was being offerened by a bunch of different carriers over there? I had to switch carriers when I signed up but so far I've not had any trouble with reception. AT&T and Sprint pretty much have the same coverage area.

I have a 2nd generation one...with the 3G right? It's the one with the white back to it though (I thought this looked a bit swish over the black one, plus you can't see fingerprints).

I've got one and I fucking LOVE it. Had the first gen, now moved to a second gen 3G model.

The fact it was FREE cause of a friends & family discount did help, but even despite that it is a quite fantastic piece of kit. I am quite missing my little Nano though which I now only use for working out and gyms. The Nano is just a beautifully tiny little beast.
