It wasn't a great start to the series imo.
Yeah, there's been better epis but the second half was great. Laughed LOTS at the boss guy and at Roy and Jen in general. Don't find Moss funny at all though.

I love the IT Crowd. Missed it last night (damn the PS3 and Fallout 3) so just watched it on demand. "Not as nice as your mum's glasses" - Moss is brilliant! :D
After the disappointing first episode it's definitely back on track.
Especially LOVED the bit where Moss woke up with the windows noise. :D

My IT manager housemate applauded at that point.

Brilliant show, though I still miss Denholm.
I am madly in love with Katherine Parkinson.
Series 4 starting this Friday.
Anyone watching this?
Series 1 was my favourite, Series 2 slightly worse, Series 3 bit of the same... I hope Series 4 will be as funny as Series 1.
I do like this show a lot, but the adverts for the new series are annoying me. I think they're overdoing the Moss character a bit.
Moss is great though :D
I saw the trailer probably 5 times by now and at all times I had the volume down so I have no idea what is happening in that bit :S
But I can't wait!
Oh he totally is the best thing, but it still seems as if they're going a bit overboard with him. It's hard to explain. It's like they're trying too hard with the character. That "I came hear to drink milk and kick ass" scene they keep showing is just rubbish.
oh well, maybe it will make sense when we watch the whole scene... who knows?
what's your favourite episode, VoR?
Mine are the ones with 'THE SHOES!!!!' :D, 'The curse of Bill Crouse' and that other one with Friendface :D :D :D
I love the one where they end up at a gay musical and Roy has to pretend to be disabled. :D

Same for me on that one.

The first 2 series were brilliant, the third was utter RUBBISH. The ads I've seen for the new one don't look that great either. :( I'm going to watch it though.

I had never seen a single episode before, but after seeing Katherine parkinson in a few things last year and finding her utterly delightful i watched this week's and quite enjoyed it.
Considering it's done by the guy who wrote both Father Ted and Black Books, it's probably a bit of a disappointment (for me at least), but on it's own terms i found it quite watchable and gently funny. I thought the boss was really quite crap though, but i liked the main three and LOLed a bit. I will definitely watch more.

I wouldn't say the episode was a classic.
TP, the first three series are on 4OD.
I recommend this one:

I got the limited edition box set of all 3 series last year, and watch them fairly often.
for some reason I just cannot be arsed watching this.

Likewise. I love the fact that Moss is going on Countdown next time :D
Unexpected but VV FUNNY cameo from Gyles Brandreth was brilliant!

First episode good, second not so good.
Jen's plotline was a bit rubbish.

I am finding this show to be quite ridiculously patchy. It's mostly pleasantly watchable, but with some WELL shit bits, and then some flashes of total genius.
I borrowed the first two series and am working my way through the second one first. My favourite so far is easily the Gay musical episode, which was a total joy. The stuff with Roy being disabled was 100% gold for me. I also enjoyed (and i'm not sure why) Jen as a soviet refugee smoker an ep or two later. I do love Jen. Does Noel Fielding's character fuck off for good after series 2/3? I hope so, it's such a crap performance.
This series-wise, i didn't really get a lot out of the Countdown episode. "Good morning, that's a nice tnettenba" aside. If i was a dickhead who quoted tv shows then i would definitely be saying that a lot.

Richmond wasn't in series 3 because Noel was too busy.
I remember the writer saying he wanted him back for 4.
