When you get to #38 and have to include 'Why Me' surely you should be considering restricting it to a Top 30...

I was actually listening to it for the first time in years again today, and I do quite like it to my shock and awe, much moreso than Johnny's own two efforts.

I shall HAVE to do some investigating and get me some more obscure stuff and do a PROPER list...

Id imagine the top ten would INCLUDE

Take Me To Your Heaven- Charlotte Nilsson
Poupee De Cire, Poupee De Son- France Gall
Waterloo- Abba
Ne Ver, Ne Bosjia- TATU
Un Banc, Un Arbre, Une Rue- Severine
Oooh Aah...Just A Little Bit- Gina G
Save Your Kisses For Me- Brotherhood Of Man

And MANY more....

I WAS wondering whether to include this. In retrospect, maybe it's quite a glaring omission.

Charlotte can go FRIG herself though  (and for all I know, probably IS at the moment, in some Swedish porn movie).

Much as Brotherhood Of Man and Bucks Fizz were my two big childhood favourites I couldn't put either in my Eurovision Top 20.

Well, what can I say, I liked it at the time. Maybe it is a tad high, I put this list together in 10/15 minutes, but I wouldn't say it's shit myself.

HOWEVER, I remember the #s 2 and 3 of that year, Elisabeth Andreassen and One More Time, being FAR superior and really ARE glaring omissions in this list.

Prince's Sign 'O' The Times, maybe? I've been meaning to finally check out his back catalogue for a while, and this might be a good place to start. I believe the CD version hasn't been updated since the 80s, so if I like, I'll buy the remastered version that will inevitably come out at some point.
