Does anyone know how to revise an item that has bids on it? I have done this for items that have no bids in the past and it was easy. However, two of my items have bids on and when I click on revise it:

(a) won't let me revise the title (as the box is shaded in grey and the text is immoveable) and

(b) when I type up a new description and click on preview, it still shows the old text description!

I know you have to pay for revising an item that has bids but there was no evidence of this even. Argh! Something is wrong somewhere in what I am doing. Can anybody help?

(I realised I put the wrong manufacturer on the title and in the description body and don't want the eventual winner to be annoyed - although they probably wouldnt even care, but it's just not the official main brand, just a sort of 'sub-brand' but no less in quality, but anyway....).

Another probably stupid ebay question: can you take back your bids?

I stupidly bidded on some theatre tickets thinking the performance would be the evening showing, but actually it's the matinee and I can't go. :manson: I know, but is there a way of withdrawing the bid?

It's so stupid. I'm guessing there probably isn't. So I'm just probably going to wait and hope someone outbids me. :(

OR email the seller and just say that you misread the listing and can they cancel the bid for you?

[theatre nerd] What show were the tickets for? [/theatre nerd]

A Doll's House with Gillian Anderson. I'd been meaning to see it for ages and now it's last week and completely sold out. Gutted I'm most likely going to miss it.

Oh and ta Moony.

Oh arse is that finishing already? How annoying, we were thinking about trying for the day tickets that the donmar shows often do, but Jude Law's hamlet is a priority right now.
