View Full Version : MP3/Window Movie Maker
Hi kids,
I'm having trouble with 7 of the entries for A Song For Moopy. When I try to add them to WMM it says it cannot add the files because 'they are corrupt or invalid format'.
From what I see, they are the same format as the other 15 I have been able to upload!
I've tried getting the files resent to me, but that still doesn't work.
Any ideas?

i've had that problem! i think certain audio files have some sort of protection and just don't work on windows movie maker - god knows i've tried converting them, changing bitrates, renaming etc
sorry for the help, starina :(
Sorry star. I have no idea, and when I put some info into google to look it up, one of the first results was this thread :D
Do you have Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) and a non-Vista Windows? If so you can play the song while recording it straight from your computer, and make a new mp3...

Yes please.
Thank you!
Yes please.
Thank you!
I'll do it tomorrow, but you must PM me and remind or i'll forget. Which songs?
I'll send them to you in a bit, they are for heat 2.
Ok, I've managed to sort of 6 of the 7 songs that needed doing. Now with the final one, when I play it on itunes/windows media player it's fine. BUT if I play it on audacity it comes out all distorted, and it's been stretched to 14 mins long from 3 mins.
Anyone know what I can do? Otherwise I'll have to leave this one entry out.
