pick people up for nomination?
I wonder how they're going to be able to get their revenge.
Well they've obviously not told us the whole story... MOST of it sounds GREAT.... a twist that doesn't really go against the rules as such (it was crap when someone was voted back in after we'd spent money getting them out, but seeing as we're NOT spending money getting them out, I think it's fine for them to stay in!)...

That could well be it.
The person evicted each week gets to pick one of the next set of people up for eviction after spending a few days watching them from the secret room.

that would be good, but just watching all by yourself watching all the rest :bored:

I assume they would get to go outside and stuff too... since they have been officially evicted from the house, and therefore the rules...

ooh maybe...
POWER.
I must say that I'm surprised that Endemol are going without a whole eviction's worth of revenue from public voting!
This is what Digital Spy has to say:
The next twist of this year's Evil Big Brother has been revealed.
On Friday the housemates will face their first live eviction. There will be no nominations, nor will there be a public vote. The housemates will have to choose which member of the group will be 'leaving' the house, and will watch them being 'evicted' live on Friday night.
Now here's the twist: What the housemates won't realise, is that the 'evicted' housemate won't really be given the boot. Instead, they will leave through a door which will lead them to a secret room within the compound.
From this room, the 'evictee' will be able to watch the goings on in the house, and monitor the people who stabbed them in the back.
And in the words of Davina 'Maybe, just maybe, the 'evicted' housemate will be able to wreak revenge'.
-----------------------
So it looks like they won't really be evicted and will be allowed to rejoin the house later.

This series of BB does all seem a bit too close to Ben Elton's novel for comfort and that's after just two days. You can just imagine a Geraldine character has been brought in after last year's flop!
I'm very surprised about the lack of phone votes this week too!

You know I read that Ben Elton book, but I don't remember a thing about it now.

I think that more or less confirms that the person being 'evicted' won't really be evicted.

Exactly, the person who's "evicted" on Friday will probably be back in the house proper come Saturday.

They'll have to pump in some pretty convincing crowd noise to fool the rest of the housemates as the stuff they've used in previous years has been shit!
Ooooh, so this twist solves the problem of there not being four left in the final week.
It means that we won't need an extra housemate unless someone walks, is thrown out or there is a double eviction.

This is true! :D
I quite like this idea...it could work. Though if Kitten was voted out the following week really would be intolerable....

WHAT?
You go watch a film for a couple of hours and you miss tons..
Although, wasn't it known ages ago that the evicted housemate would pick someone to be evicted for the public vote?

Well, it's not looking like it's exactly like that.
As far as we can tell, the housemates will choose to evict someone on Friday. That person will be 'evicted' and then moved straight into a secret room where they'll be able to see and hear what's going on in the house. Then presumably they'll be able to move back in.
The last point is pure conjecture, but seeing as the public will have had absolutely no say in their 'eviction', it seems likely.

i want it to be ahmed, he doesnt seem to do much so far with everyone else, so if the evicted person does come back, he can try to get back at them

Well couldn't it be that the person is evicted, watches them for a few days on and off, then makes a nomination on Monday? Then the housemates also nominate on the same day so we have one house and one evictee selection (or most likely three in total because the 2 housemates with the most votes will go up for eviction as per usual).
This would completely back up what was said about evicted housemates picking someone to go up for the public vote which seemed to be stated more as fact than just guessing...
Sounds very likely to me..

Well, yes, but you'd expect that if that was the case then the public would get at least some say in it.
They have NONE this week, which leads me to think that it's NOT a proper eviction, but rather a fake eviction.
The report from Digital Spy posted earlier in this thread seems to confirm that saying that the 'evicted' housemate won't really be given the boot.

Well maybe they're doing it this way because it's the first week and they want the public to get a proper good idea of what everyone's like this time, so they all get 2 weeks in there and after that the same thing applies, just that the housemate IS evicted. Or something
I do think it seems likely that whatever happens the evicted housemate each week will pick someone to be nominated and then go up against the two (or more) the housemates chose.

Oh yes, I think that's quite likely. Although I think they should be made to choose someone BEFORE they are shown who nominated them that week.

Yeah definitely, if it means anyone remotely bitchy is going to be picked because the evictee has seen them well, bitching, then it'll be utter shite..
I like the fact it's going to mean 3 people will up each week though, unless the evictee choses the same as the top 2 the housemates chose..
UPDATED - Now appears that two are going for four days to live in the secret room:
The next twist of this year's Evil Big Brother has been revealed.
On Friday the housemates will face their first live eviction. There will be no nominations, nor will there be a public vote. The housemates will have to choose which member of the group will be 'leaving' the house, and they will then be called to the diary room.
They will then be asked to choose one other housemate to leave with them, and both shall leave the Big Brother house while crowd noise is played to convince the others that a crowd is waiting outside.
Now here's the twist: What the housemates won't realise, is that the 'evicted' housemates won't really be given the boot. Instead, they will leave through a door which will lead them to a secret bedsit within the compound - their home for the next four days.
From this place, the 'evictees' will be able to watch the goings on in the house via a plasma screen, and monitor the people who stabbed them in the back; they will also undertake some key decisions affecting the remaining housemates.
The housemates will return to the main house on Wednesday - although the manner of their return could depend on whether the housemates succeed or fail in the weekly task taking place on that day.
Oooops, I see Cwej's already mentioned it

Well speaking personally I LOVE it!
Anyway with the extra week this year there will still be 9 weeks of voting, so in real terms not that much revenue will be lost, and with the extra week of getting to know the HMs before evicitions start I reckon the votage will be up!
So who do you think will be the two housemates who will move into the bedsit?
Remember, the housemate with the most nominations moves in and they get to pick one other housemate to be 'evicted' with them so it's likely we're going to get two housemates who don't get on or aren't that close.
If Kitten gets nominated then I think she'll choose Marco or Michelle as these are the two she appears to have bonded least with.
If Ahmed gets nominated then I think he'll choose Marco for sure as he really doesn't get along with him.
I also think there's a good chance that Marco will get nominated as he could pick up nominations from Ahmed, Daniel and Jason. He'll almost certainly choose Ahmed to be evicted with him.
I think that the two housmates who move into the bedsit will be safe from the first proper eviction as nominations will take place on the Monday and the housemates nominating will believe they've already been evicted so won't be able to put them up for eviction.

Joey speaks sense... unless they're AUTOMATICALLY up for eviction, after all one was chosen by the HMs to be evicted, and the other would be evictee's choice...
The housemates have found the secret room.
However, will they put 2 and 2 together when a pair of them are 'evicted on Friday?

KITTEN COULD KILL BIG BROTHER
Jun 2 2004
By Andy Rudd And Nicola Methven
BIG Brother bosses have held a crisis summit over fears that rebel Kitten could wreck the show.
TV chiefs are scared the lesbian, officially warned twice yesterday for her antics, could incite a mass revolt against house rules.
They are also terrified she could scupper their dramatic plans to move two contestants to a secret bedsit on Friday.
Producers have told her that if she reoffends they will evict a housemate.
But a Channel 4 insider admitted: "People are really s****ing themselves that Kitten will ruin things. She's becoming so militant and the rest are starting to follow suit.
"Officially bosses are putting on a brave face, saying they can handle her and she's no match for evil Big Brother. Secretly they're concerned she'll really screw things up."
Kitten, 24, received official cautions for smuggling a garden statue into the house and trying to break in to the locked alcohol fridge.
She has also angered bosses by ignoring Diary Room summons and climbing on the roof.
On Friday the group will be asked to evict a housemate, who will then pick another person to go with them.
When the pair leave, they will be led to a secret bedsit in the house.
They will work for Big Brother, choosing tasks and punishments for the rest, before returning on Wednesday. Bookies make Kitten, real name Katherine Pinder, red-hot favourite to be voted into the hidden room.
However, bosses fear she may even bang on the walls to give the game away.
Yesterday they tried to get housemates to bring her into line by vowing to kick one of them out over her behaviour.
Victor was given the news in the Diary Room but was not told that Kitten was the persistent offender.
When she found out she told the others: "I'm under a hell of a lot more pressure to behave myself... we need a plan to keep me in order."
