What do we think of BB5 after a couple of days?

A definite improvement, I say. I can't remember being this interested at an early stage since BB2.

I can't remember being this interested at ANY stage last year...I think as far as the opening days go it ranks at the top as well, although I didn't join the first two until several days in..

I think that prior to this one, the BB format had been done to death and was no longer interesting. Going for stereotypes was a great idea this year and it really has a 'gladitorial' feel. Dunno how they can top it next year.

It's up there with BB3 and BB1 for me so far.... But it's in danger of becoming the Kitten show, like last year was the Jon Tickle show and series 2 was the Brian Dowling show.

I don't LIKE the series where it focuses so much on one contestant - it's against the whole point of the show.

Particularly when there appear to be quite a few interesting characters (for one reason or another) in there this year.

Indeed. The only one that came across as quite 'nothing' on Friday night was Shell - and she was given a fairly big scene tonight.... so why didn't we see any of Stuart, Vanessa, Ahmed (apart from a naked shot of him in the jacuzzi - VILE!), etc...

I suppose at this early stage it doesn't particularly matter, especially as there is no real eviction this week. However, if it continues in the same vein, it will be a problem.

There was a bit of Vanessa...but I'm not sure if there was ANY parts showing Stuart talking :manson:. I really hope he's not going to be the equivalent of Cameron this year, a dull but irritating prick (so far) who might be helped by clever editing (ooh, the conspiracies are probably already in full swing over at digitalspy :bruised: ). Or because people bloody fancy him..

Hopefully go the way of Spencer then.

Anyhow, I haven't seen anything particularly dislikeable about him apart from the audition type stuff. Mind you, that was ENOUGH.

I hate to say it but I think I'm actually bored...

But I'm not watching the highlight shows, maybe if I was a highlight only viewer I'd be enthralled...

Having said that I can't wait for the double 'eviction'

I only very rarely watch the live E4 coverage. About 75% of the time it bores me to tears.

I saw the rebellion discussion yesterday afternoon and I just wanted to tell Kitten to shove something up her clunge!

this is a bit lame... but BB4 had Nush... and that was enough for me to be interested... ;)

this series only Kitten has captured my interest thus far... and thats only because she is the lamest rebel ever... :D

the highlights show should make it though, hopefully...

Nadia as a Cheeky Girl ought to have been more entertaining!

I'm really enjoying the live coverage tonight...this whole Pop Idol thing is good fun, especially as everyone's getting involved more or less and proving good to watch imo..

Have they twigged Nadia is transexual yet? They MUST be thinking it by now, surely...

Well Marco suggested it early on, maybe that got round to some of the others...they'll probably just wait until she tells them though, but I've noticed most of them are looking at her body in a curious sort of way, especially last night in the pool!
