Hello moopy. I know we've had a few of these, but it's my turn now.

I want a pair of earphones better than the ones that came with my iPod (so I gather that rules out nothing other than Poundland), just for listening to the iPod, nothing else. I've no preference between closed earphones, in the ear jobs, those clippy over ear things or anything. And no preference for the brand. I'd just like them to be no more than about £40. And it will be a bonus if less.

I bought these ("http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/10852732/Sennheiser-CX300-II-Precision-ECO-Headphones/Product.html”) based on recommendations from other Moopy members. They are fantastic and a great price but they really do show up how awful the 128kbps bit rate is.

I have these in black...

Also purchased from Moopy recommendations. They fold so they're easy to transport in your bag or pocket and the sound is really excellent. So excellent that when I lost my ipod before Christmas, I bought these again immediately without a second thought. I love them. They're comfy too.
