Starts on E4 next Monday at 10pm with a double bill. From what i've seen so far (not much) its rather disappointing, and the reviews are terrible.

I watched the first episode some months ago and I wasn't rushing to see any more of it.

The stupidest thing is the way it feels SO different to Family Guy despite using the same universe - one of his neighbours is a family of bears and I was watching it thinking "that's just STUPID", yet you think almost nothing of Brian as a talking dog in Family Guy.

I've seen the first 11 episodes, to start with it just seems like a cheap cop off of family guy, after watching a few episodes at best it gets on par with a poor episode family guy.

At times it can be funny, like American Dad can be; but it's not really worth watching religiously

Is anyone a fan of Cleveland anyway? His biggest moment seems to be falling out of his house in a bath.

He’s hardly Roger in American Dad!.

Are we really surprised it is shit, given it was birthed out of the abomination that is 'Family Guy'?

what don't you like about Family Guy?

People who don't like Family Guy have generally RARELY SEEN IT or TALKED OVER WHOLE EPISODES ABOUT HOW SHIT IS

what don't you like about Family Guy?

The sheer inaneness of it. There's a point at which the random cutaway gag humour becomes stupid.

Family Guy is, of course, all kinds of great.

It has even been the subject of acclaimed academic WORKS: http://voyager.aber.ac.uk/vwebv/holdingsInfo?searchId=1658&recCount=10&recPointer=0&bibId=521817

Seems a pretty pointless spin off to me. It would be like Lenny from the Simpsons getting a spin off. Who'd care?

I never bothered with it, Cleveland has the occasional funny bit but aside from that what about his character warrants his own TV show at all?

I gather that their idea was to choose a character that wouldn't really make much difference to Family Guy, so that they could craft a world around them.
Quagmire, and to a lesser extent Joe, are too prominent to remove.

I just don't get why they needed to add yet ANOTHER part to the franchise.
the only thing I found remotely funny was the black afro kid.

anything without stewie or roger is a pile of wank.
