Hollywood star Nicole Kidman's latest film has sparked controversy before its even been released - because of a passionate clinch she shares with a ten-year- old boy. The Oscar-winning actress, 36, is seen getting romantic with a ten-year-old boy she believes is the reincarnation of her dead husband in Birth - which has horrified film executives. New Line Cinema bosses are anxious over scenes involving Kidman and the boy stripping off together for a bath - while another scene see the two locking lips. PR companies who are set to promote the $54 million film have allegedly called it a 'publicity nightmare'.

It's only a movie. And I dont think she french kisses him either, maybe something in lines of her kiss with her ''sister'' in ''The Hours''

Watched this for the first time in about three years. I absolutely loved it, much more than I ever have before. It actually completely moved me. Dunno, maybe I wasn't in the right mood before. By fuck though Nicole Kidman is marvellous in this. I think she's a very mannered actress, but it totally works here. She uses little repeated movements and flinches of her body to show us the character, it's marvellous. It's so physical, something I didn't really notice before. And the opera scene. Wow. Also when she tells her dead husband's relative that he needs to tell the little boy to leave her alone, because she can't. :( And Anne Heche is really good in her supporting role.
