BRITISH soul star Jamelia is refusing to back down from a feud with Australian pop rival Peter Andre.
Chart-topping Jamelia, 23, says Andre's hit Mysterious Girl is rubbish.
And in a fearless tirade, Jamelia blasted superstars Beyonce and Britney for being lip-syncing cheats.
"When I realised Beyonce mimes half to three-quarters of her show, that took a lot away for me," Jamelia told the Herald Sun yesterday.
"I thought: 'Well, are you an artist or are you an actress?'
"I understand the quest to be an entertainer, but don't put yourself out there as an artist if that's not what you are," she said.
In Melbourne for a promotional tour, Jamelia said miming superstars were ripping off punters.
"Britney came to England recently and mimed over every single track," Jamelia said.
"How the hell can she do a whole show and mime it?
"I feel it's cheating the fans and I think it's disgusting.
"Pop culture right now is about having a voice in the studio and not having to cut it live.
"That's ridiculous."
Jamelia, whose hits include Superstar and Thank You, also renewed her criticism of Andre.
In the UK, this year, Mysterious Girl, a hit first released in 1996, beat Thank You to the top of the charts.
"Everyone knows it's rubbish, everyone knew it was rubbish 10 years ago, and it's still rubbish today," Jamelia told MTV in March.
"I think (Andre) is the new Justin Timberlake.
"I seriously do - in Croatia."
Yesterday, Jamelia was unrepentant.
"It's exactly what I said it was. It's a throwaway song. It's rubbish."
She revealed Andre has since tried to win her support.
"I felt bad because he wants to be friends. I'm like: whatever. And even though I apologised, I don't take back what I said."
Jamelia vows she will always be outspoken.
"I'm not a liar. I'm an honest person," she said.
"I'm a very opinionated person. Just because I think some people are rubbish doesn't mean everyone should take my lead.

It's the only concert I've been to where you can throw whatever you want at the people on stage, it's a free concert and people just crowd around the stage. 2 years ago when Hear'Say were there, Myleene got a tennis ball to the head, and last year when it was really hot, Kym Marsh got about 20 packets of free sun cream thrown at her.

A handful?! I like 'Superstar' but I think all her own tunes have been rubbish. 'Thank You' pissed me off so much I wanted to finish what her boyfriend started because he didn't do it well enough. If she was NICE, and made good songs, then fair enough, but neither apply to her.

It is true though, she goes out of tune very easily - she used to sing live on TV shows but the last time she sung live on a TV show was with "Superstar" on TOTP - Thank You and See It... were all mimed, if you discount the road shows where she sometimes sings live and sometimes doesn't.
As for Happy_Ending, she had NO problem with me before - I've photos with her, and besides she signed SOME of my stuff, before and after L&L - you really do not know a thing, and as for being ugly how shallow can one person be? :confused:
