Isn't `Wasted' just THE SPANGLY DISCO TITS? :disco:

Wasted
I'm so wasted
empty since you left me
I still need him and want him
without him I'm nothing
if I can't do something
to get him to come home on to me
Wasted
love's been wasted
guess I'm not too brainy
I was selfish and foolish
I used and abused him
and laughed when he threatened to walk out
but now he's done it
He was like the moon
he had his darker side
but he could be the sun
shinning in the light
Wasted
sure I'm wasted
knowing he don't love me
such a sad thing about him
to know that I love him
and nothing I say or I do will return
say I'm wasted
He was like the moon
he had his darker side
but he could be the sun
shinning in the light
Wasted
sure I'm wasted
knowing he don't love me
wasted
sure I'm wasted
knowing he don't love me..
It should have been a single instead of that FILTHY version of `Could It Be Magic'

Another Monday morning
another five day week ahead
such a lonely weekend
sleeping in a half filled bed
Got those need-a-man blues
I need a man so bad
got those need-a-man blues
and it's driving me mad
All the evening people
dressing up just to get undressed
and me I'm stuck at home
losing more and gaining less
Got those need-a-man blues
I need a man so bad
got those need-a-man blues
and it's driving me mad
Emptiness inside
empty as a glass in my hand
whisky friend of mine
help me make it easy without
Got those need-a-man blues
I need a man so bad
got those need-a-man blues
and it's driving me mad
Baby baby baby
goes the singer on my hi-fi
honey honey honey
my reply
Got those need-a-man blues
I need a man so bad
got those need-a-man blues
and it's driving me mad
Emptiness inside
empty as a glass in my hand
whisky friend of mine
help me make it easy without
Got those need-a-man blues
I need a man so bad
got those need-a-man blues
and it's driving me mad
Another Monday morning

Got those need-a-man blues

Every one's a WINNER babe. How DARE those repulsive homosexuals in Bronksi Beat not only record a SHITE version of `Love To Love You Baby' and `I Feel Love' in a nasty medley but also FOOL the PUBLIC by calling a CRAP song of their own devising `Need A Man Blues'. No WONDER I turned religious.

And can I just say that my car journey this morning and RANDOM cd selection reminded me just how FABULOUS "Con Te Partiro" TRULY is

The first four Donna albums `Love To Love You Baby', `A Love Trilogy', `Four Seasons Of Love' and `I Remember Yesterday' are all ESSENTIAL
`A Love Trilogy' contains the FILTHY `Could It Be Magic' and the aforementioned `Wasted' as well as the EPIC `Try Me I Know We Can Make It'
`Four Seasons Of Love' is probably the least-known but is probably my favourite `Spring Affair' (oooh something's coming over me) `Summer Fever' (quite), `Autumn Changes' and `Winter Melody'
`I Remember Yesterday' is a bit weaker, although the first side (`I Remember Yesterday'/`Back In Love Again'/`Love's Unkind'/`I Remember Yesterday (reprise)' is obviously segued heaven... plus there's `I Feel Love'...
The we get onto the `double album' era...the "disco fairytale concept album" `Once Upon A Time' I believe to be most full-on Donna devotees favourite, but I find it's just TOO much
`Bad Girls' we've done before
`Live And More' isn't worth it if you have the McArthur Park Suite elsewhere
The OST of `Thank God It's Friday' has the so-so `Last Dance' plus the fabulous `With Your Love' on, plus Donna attempts a 17-minute version of `Je T'aime' :horny:
Then there's just odds and sods like `Theme From The Deep' and the hilarious Paul Jabara duet `Never Lose Your Sense Of Humour' :smoke: (`..instead of the plumber, I called Donna Summer, waited for 17 rings/wasn't she home, she must answer the phone/she always has answers for these kind of things') :dj:

I'm quite familiar with the big hits ("Hot Stuff", "Bad Girls", etc.) and they're all fine and dandy but I'm sure I'll be more fond of the hidden gems. Donna's very own post in this thread sums it up quite nicely. :disco:
