I think Susan was attractive in an old woman way, but since she tried to modernise herself it's gone a bit awry. Her humour has always been vastly underrated though.

Danni Stark that girl be. I have that moment on tape. I have a few of her other moments on tape as well, but mainly later eps. I missed all her early eps until 1997 when Darren kissed Shannon. I'd love to see ALL of Libby's bits, but I got SKY too late to get them all on tape.

Libby is my FAV ever character in Neighbours. I've liked The Alessi Twins before and Gaby, Adam, Brad Willis and of couse I LOVE Susan and Karl, but Libby is my overall favourite.

Did you see that Neighbours Revealed once. It was showing the bit where Libby came home from the hospital after the motorcycle crash and how Jackie Woodburne & Alan Fletcher have this technique they call 'Adlibbing Over Lapping' or something like that, where they talk at the same time and just adlib. That's what I prob miss most now that I don't watch New Neighbours anymore. I just stopped after I got SKY. Shame really cos I'd watched it religiously right from the very first eps and as new familys/characters moved in and moved on you just sort of picked up your favs. I loved Shane right at the very beginning. Very shocked I was when I saw Shane having botty sex in 'Queer As Folk'. Not that I watched it of course.

With Libby leaving, New Neighbours just doesn't do it for me anymore. Now the old Neighbours is thrilling to watch !!!

I'd love to see Kym do something else though, I've only ever seen her in Neighbours. Oooh, she's be great in a remake of Prisoner Cell Block H.

I don't really watch New Neighbours anymore, I prefer my memories of the Old. Funny that you should mention Prisoner (Cell Block H)... Last night I was watching All Saints (Aussie hospital drama). One of the main characters is Von Ryan, played by Judith McGrath who was prison officer Colleen Powell. And last night her long lost sister turned up, dying of cancer, played by none other than Elspeth Ballantyne (prison officer Meg Jackson, & she was also in Neighbours) so it was like a Prisoner reunion

You mean she's left it? I thought she'd be there FOREVER. I haven't watched it regularly since the early 90s, but she was about the only likeable character/actor in it. I'm sure she could go on to better things if she hadn't stayed so long.

Thing is, because "Neighbours" isthe biggest show in Australia, once you leave it, what IS there to do next? You can only go on "Blue Heelers" or obviously move into the Northern Hemisphere.
