PHEW saves me from seeing what i fear may be my most played
You know what, I genuinely don't think I've listened to ANYTHING this week, for the first time in about a year...
Ooops!
I'm annoyed because for the first time ever since I got a loan of tonnes of her older albums ( Yes I KNOW) last weekend I'm actually NOT listening to Mariah...

I think the plug-ins hold onto the data until the site is ready to accept it.....

front page now says it'll be tomorrow before it's up. BAH!
How long does a song have to play before the audioscrobbler plugin caches it? I guess it might depend on the length of the song.
I've noticed a few times songs that have been skipped, even after they have played for 1 minute (or more), don't get cached. Are their any rules on this?
I love the feeling of being slightly lost
Well sometimes mp3's aren't tagged correctly so the filename is correct but the tag information is blank!Originally Posted by Unknown Obscurist

Well, I played The Residents "Commercial Album" and it picked up all 40 1 minute tracks. I think a certain percentage of a track has to be played before it picks it up - it certainly took quite a while longer to register "For Bunita Marcus" than it did to note "Come Clean".Originally Posted by Unknown Obscurist

It's back up now but at a new address http://www.last.fm
Mine is still working using the previous address, although I'm redirected.
Hmmm...I just checked the tags of the files that didn't register and they were all fine.Originally Posted by Alex

I find that it struggles with some classical stuff though so I'm not surprised to hear about Bonita. I was listenting to Cowell last night and first it couldn't detect the details of the CD at all. I then ripped it and edited the tags and it still didn't cache them.![]()

Slow? All it's doing is timing out whenever I try to do anything on it
I can't get anywhere with it now either. All I seem to ge now is "The page cannot be displayed".Originally Posted by Steve

I managed to get in once. I quite liked it, particularly the way you can now see your top 300 tracks![]()
I can't remember my username!
Oh well it's not doing anything anyway....
Here it is folks, the new Audioscrobbler
It's a new url so update your bookmarks
http://www.last.fm/
The thing is www.last.fm was there before and it had a list of every single song you played. However before it actually loaded in under 10 minutes.![]()

Here's the Moopy group
I think i preferred the old style, it's going to take a bit of getting used to
Error: could not get connection to global cluster (too busy?).
