As you may or may not know , the Danish Anastacia soundalike has had a career spanning 30 years. This song which i'm going to ggggg is LOVELY, one of my favorite songs. It's sung in Danish and means (The One I Love), it won a Grammy in 1987 and was the National World AIDS Day song or something.

Sanne seems to have recovered from her stroke sufficiently to make a comeback. I noticed her new album has been #1 in Denmark for a few weeks and youtubed the new single the other day. It's called Taxa and it's actually really good! It's been stuck in my head all week.

I can't access youtube at work but seek it out fans! Way way better than Higher Ground.

Her biggest hits seem to be Den Jag Elskar Dig and Uden Dig. You can probably get a cheap compilation if you shop around. She seems to be HUGE in Denmark!

It's a great album, "Taxa" is an amazing song as well... the whole album is very old school Sanne. Of her old material I like "Hvis Du Forstod" (If You Understood) the best. For some reason I simply cannot find a studio version of Den Jeg Elsker... only a crappy remix. I only have a re-recording by one of my favorite Danish singers Søs Fenger (she's the woman) and Thomas Helmig, another very famous Danish singer... In my opinion it's better than Sanne's version.
