Oh Evighet just ticks ALL the right boxes for me, and I think Carola's performance will make it even better.
The performance will blow all the others out of the water, sure but the song lacks something I can't quite put my finger on.

Oooh, no no no .. I just found the Swedish lyrics and looked up several words because quite a bit of it is rather similar to German or English .. And after intense swedish listenage one just knows a few common words ..

I hope Linda and Carola will sing in SWEDISH this year, if they perform in Athens.
To be honest, I think Carola's will be better in English because it was originally intended to be sung in English but it was changed in order to reach a broader audience (.. to garner more votes) .. Linda's will lose quite a lot of its charm if it is translated into English I fear ..

No. SVT have had a few cutbacks this year due to the Winter Olympics. Even the stage this year is looking rather shoddy compared to previous years. They BETTER stream the final though

Oooh, something happened during the keychange during Gunter & The Sunshine Girls. I'm guessing it was CLOTHING REMOVAL, sounds like the crowd loved it.
The crowd seems a lot better than other weeks. The first week they all looked DEAD.
Not fond of Jessica's vocals at all. 5th place then, suffering the fate of the pretty blondes.

But yes, Sandra isn't very impressive live and I still don't really like the song.
I quite like some elements of the production of it, but the voice is only standard, the oriental stuff is great, but in fact the thing is just typical - Om Natten style (same songwriters)

Evan sounded awful live... most of the others were OK. I can't deny Carola is a fantastic live performer, the crowd clearly went wild over it and I'm sure she'll sweep through this heat unchallenged. I just hope it doesn't win the final as the song really is crap. Rednex second place I'd say, although I missed Roger Pontare so don't know about that one.
Can someone remind me when the results are announced?
