When is it released? Surely a January release is the perfect time for it... Should go top 10 at the very WORST I mean HOW MANY have seen this tour?
LOTS
Surely it has a good crack at #1 ? Sales for Take That last week were under 30k and releasing a live album DURING the tour is surely a first (or at least a rarity) that will boost sales. Plus the "We love Kylie" factor and universal good reviews (plus the free advertising Channel 4's constant trailers are giving it)
Am I being stupidly optimistic ?
It's been too long, it's been too long...

It comes out TODAY
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Oh RIGHT. That's something ELSE to DO then...
Yeah she'll go top 5 I RECKON...
It's #20 on CDWow
I can;t tell you where it is on Amazon as my work filter blocks the page as it contains the word "Showgirl"

It's been too long, it's been too long...
I think you're being optimistic I'm afraid.
That said, it is currently No.6 on the Amazon charts and still No.1 on their pre-release.
Oh and they had adverts for it on the big screens during the interval on Saturday.
You have to remember that it is #6 on Amazon and most LOONS will buy in the shops...
#1 might be optimistic but I still reckon it will do VERY VERY WELL
I mean, how many people is she playing to ?
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Oh it's only £8.99 on Amazon. Everyone buy it through the link thankyouplease.
I'll buy it from Tesco ACTUALLY
Im afraid I will be buying in STORE rather than online
Sainsburys if they HAVE IT
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Just short of 200,000 in all I think (including Manchester).
Well, 200k- if you imagine that most people go in couples, that is 100k couples. (They obviously DON'T but that is therefore a conservative estimate)
A third of those buying the cd would give it a good shot at #1, without even the loons who couldn't get there, the general record buying public, those who see the adverts for the Channel 4 show etc etc...
It might be optimistic but its not TOTALLY out of the question if you ask me...
It's been too long, it's been too long...
I'm going down to Woolies to buy it in a bit, along with some Strepsils (I'm STILL ill), they make up their own chart, so I wonder where they will have placed it.
I reckon top 5 in the real chart though
£9.77 for the double in Sainsburys
Though they have it at #27 or something...
It's been too long, it's been too long...
oh really ! i might pop in there then rather than trudge down to Woolies
I think top 20 at best. I'd love to be proven wrong though!
Top Ten which will be fantastic.
I bought my copy from Woolworths this morning, they're selling it for £8.97 and had it on display at the front of the store.
I've just downloaded it. I was going to just add it to my next amazon order, but if Woolies are selling it that cheap, I'll pick it up later this week, as there's nothing else I want on amazon at the moment to make up the total for free P&P.
Just got it from Woolies. They had it at number 5 (their music buyer is a homo though, so that explains it) and £8.97 as well. Fantabulous.

Apparently Mr L has just picked it up in Woolies for me. YAY
Oh the "Turn It Into Love" bit is fucking FABULOUS

It's been too long, it's been too long...
"Turn it into love" ITSELF is fabulous GLORIFIED.
I picked it up but I'm not playing it until after the concert
Oh my God I'm a LOON![]()
There's a few edits on the songs I hadn't noticed before
"What Do I Have To Do" is reduced to part of the medley now rather than a whole song
"Chocolate" appears to have lost a verse on first listen
Is this just for the cd or for the actual show too ?
It doesn't make too much of a difference, but just a thought...
It's been too long, it's been too long...
OK I caved in
I'm listening as we speak
In terms of MUSICAL ARRANGEMENT at at least, the Temple segment is absolutely stunning! I love the subtle rework the "Confide in Me" strings have got and I love her beatbox thing with "Too Far". In general though the segment is beautifully arranged..
I wonder if "White Diamond" will chart (albeit it only in the top 200 or something Id have thought...) once it gets on iTunes- surely there will be a fair few who want to get their hands on it...
HMMM
Does anyone have mp3s of the original Showgirl concert ? I never bothered getting them and frankly though I have the DVD, I'd quite like some iPod action now...
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Bono sounds a right MESS on "Kids"
Kylie sounds GREAT
Oh why oh why oh why have you listened to it before seeing the show?

Look, if I listen to MADGE albums when they leak prior to release, SHORELY I'm not going to make an exception for Kylie.
Sorry boys I'm just weak that way.![]()
Nope it's for the actual show. I think I mentioned it in my review. I'm not entirely sure why they bothered cutting "What Do I have To Do" because the rest of the segment is exactly the same. I guess they thought two verses didn't work.Originally Posted by Sheena

Believe me, Samsara was a MAJOR highlight and now you've gone and fucking ruined it for yourselves! I tell thee!![]()
Sorry but why does everyone seem to hate "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"? It's gorge and she sounds lovely.. plus it's all the more poignant NOW considering what she went through and all..
Yeah but the visuals are part of the package too man..Originally Posted by Edward
