    A Gwen Stefani Top 10

As much as I hate the cunt I must admit that between her two solo albums she'd have made one VERY GOOD album..

    Anyway -

    1. "Cool"
    2. "4 in the Morning"
    3. "What you Waiting For?"
    4. "Early Winter"
    5. "The Real Thing"
    6. "Wonderful Life"
    7. "Serious"
    8. "The Sweet Escape"
    9. "Let me Blow ya Mind"
    10. "Wind it Up"

"Hollaback Clunge" just missed it. I hate to admit it but I did like it at some point.

Mine would look suspiciously alike, substituting "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" for "Danger Zone", and possibly sneaking "Fluorescent" in there.

    grin

And can I just say I really love the artwork for The Sweet Escape now (as possibly the only one in the universe other than Gwen herself), in all its cheap-stripper-wig-donning-knowing-seventies-tackiness? Much easier on the eye than the artwork for L.A.M.B., which tends to give me epileptic fits.

I still like the LAMB artwork but yes, the ghastly Sweet Escape artwork has grown on me muchly.. but as you know I'm all about the 4 in the morning and the tears are coming and I wanna make it worth the fight (or something) cover. As the V says, she is FLAWLESS in that.

And yes, "Danger Zone" is FABULOUS - very Return of Saturn era No Doubt.

How ODD, the "Happy Birthday Gwen" programmes on Music TV compelled me to put LAMB in the car today

    01. Serious
    02. What You Waiting For?
    03. Early Winter
    04. Long Way To Go
    05. Cool
    06. The Real Thing
    07. 4 In The Morning
    08. Rich Girl
    09. Bubble Pop Electric
    10. Hollaback Girl

I did love "The Sweet Escape" (song, not the album) at first but the overexposure has possibly made it her worst song to date. HATE IT.

If only "What You Waiting For?" didn't bomb in the US, we might have avoided the endless chav-pop anthems that followed. The success of "Hollaback Girl" totally changed the course of her solo career. No Doubt back please.

At the end it's more 'wouldn't dash to switch off' rather than actively like!

Wind It Up is fucking AWFUL.. lame bint, imagine sampling "The Lonely Goatheard", easily the WORST song from The Sound Of Music.. what's wrong with "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" or "A Doe A Deer".. and well, "Big Bruvas" did it FIRST

I'm sure there passable but if nothing from her first album could persuade me to buy it then its out casts aren't likely to change my mind... especially when one introduces Acon to do so
