though I suppose with that team Sahlene could be singing "Empty Room", but she usually always has a hand in writing the songs...

and nothing by Peter Kvint/Andreas Johnson, suggesting they are behind one of the wildcards!

    Correct, no G:son.

Song 06 (Lay Your Love on Me) is BWO, Song 27 (Hero) is Charlotte Perelli. I think E-Type might be in there somewhere too.

yeah you're right, Song 20 is written by E Type! (Martin Eriksson)

is Charlotte Perelli confirmed then I would have thought they'd have used her as a wildcard

As long as Fredrik Kempe isn't performing I'm HAPPY.

He creeps me out, especially on that duet with Sanna.

No, just numerical order of each song's registration number (from 1 - 3000+).

Apparently Charlotte Perelli singing 'Hero' is the early favourite

Charlotte will probably pull out again last minute

But imagine if that was the case, and Carola was there too AND Helena

    DIES

Will never happen, but would be FABULOUS

If that's true this will be a JOLLY good one.

Linda might end up with Jag Saknar Dig Ibland. Would make sense with regards to Jag Ljuger.

    AND NO PETER KVINT. YAY.

They're probably not in Heat order (YET)

She was rumoured last year as well...

Apparently she wants to win for Sweden AND for Greece as she is kind of dual nationality...

I can see her POINT and to be honest, why the hell not ? Her career certainly got a HELL of a lot bigger after the last time she won...

Oooh I've just realised I'll be able to watch MF online this year I haven't been able to do that since 2005

I'd love Helena to enter again, but I'd hate her to fall flat on her face and taint her Eurovision reputation, and it just feels too soon to me

I completely hope Linda gives it another bash, shes my favourite

Why would Charlotte Perrelli pull out?

Lets face it she could use a hit. I thought she must be huge in Sweden considering the success of Take Me To Your Heaven, but a quick look at her chart history suggests quite the opposite!

According to Bert Karlsson the jury voted a lot of CRAP in this year again.

Or rather missed some stompers. Apparently Sara Löfgren had a fantastic song but was not voted in, same goes for some other tracks and looking at that 'Kebab thing' he might be right. Still, Sjögren, the Poodles, Velvet and Linda all have a song in the competition. 'Dunka Mig'-Frida has also got a song in there (Leve Livet).

I remember in 2005 I didnt watch it live, but it was online a couple of days after so I avoided the topic on here and just watched it as if it was live. I don't mind doing that this year, unless its not online at all

'I Love Europe' sounds like my absolute most hated kind of Eurovision song.

Any money it references a load of capital cities.

Except she hasn't really released anything properly for QUITE SOME TIME

Remember those charts don't reflect EVERYTHING- the last album wasn't a proper pop release and the one before it did alright singles wise...

She's never been huge but she is rumoured to enter EVERY year in Sweden and never does. Ok, this might be the year that changes, but DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH

I thought it was on via the SVT website last time, I remember sitting in on Saturday nights watching it.

This is all very EXCITING anyway, I expect it will come round very quickly now.

They couldn't show it live in 2006 because they spent all their money on the winter olympics. Worst excuse ever.

I really hope the Charlotte rumours are true this time. It's been rumoured for a while now and today the Swedish press wrote that her song's a "definite winner" -

Meja ('All About The Money') is participating as well... She'll be performing Alla Gamla X with Wille Crafoord (some ex-boyband singer apparently).

Meja's last album was full of Joni Mitchell covers if i remember correctly. So I wouldn't hold out for a Schlager stomper from HER.

I have her 'Seven Sisters Road' album (The one with All About The Money). It's pleasent but largely unmemorable. There's a nice cover of I Didn't Know I Was Looking For Love (Everything But The Girl/Karen Ramirez) though.
