For me the entire melodifestivalen rests on BWO's shoulders. If it's another emple of Love, the year could be saved. If not, it could be one of the shittiest in my memory.

I actually like three of the four finalists thus far and think it's shaping up quite well.
I'm only familiar with BWO and am not that enthused by them, so am hoping that this final could spring a few surprises.

I loved Frida's Dunka Mig Gul Och Blå single, was huge in Sweden last year. But I have no idea what the new one will sound like. I get the feeling from the title and the other guy that it might be a dreadful attempt at white hiphop. She certainly doesn't strike me as a potential schlagerbird.

I fucking love that Anne-Lie Rydé performance. Why? Just why would you? At what point did ANYONE think it was a good idea?
I love the CRAZY glint in her eyes.
I genuinely think Sag At Du Har Angrat Dig deserved better though.
I also liked her recent Swedish single, which seemed to be some uber-serious number about her life passing her by. It's hard to take her 100% seriously when all you can think of is her sex dance with what looked like a giant muppet.

Therese - I am not sure whether i like she is entering on her own. She is fab in PAY TV. I don't think this solo thing is going to work.
Patrik - I really do HEART his 2006 entry. So more of the same thing will probably make me a very happy person
Caracola - Shit name. Probably a shit girlband = AMAZING
Ainbusk - Possibly the worst looking girlband of all time. Josefin Nilsson can FUCK OFF aswell.
Eskobar - They should go DTG aswell. And i am muchos looking forward to the song

Ooh Therese is starting to sound interesting!
It's co-written by Evan of "Under Your Spell" from Melodifestivalen 2006, and he describes the song as a mix of Sarah Brightman and Nightwish, adding that it's uptempo, has some guitars, and switches back and forth between genres, with the chorus being pure opera. Gylleneskor compares it to Slovenia's 2007 entry in Eurovision.
Now that does sound interesting.
I wonder if it will sound like that instrumental piece on Evan's album.

It's all about Patrik, BWO and Eskobar next week and I hope that 'When You Need Me' is quite good. Maybe Caracola can pull something as good as Sommarnatt out of the hat but I wouln't bet on it.
Ainbusk will easily make it to Andra Chasen I think. Izdajice is just the token crap 'non-Swedish/English'-entry of the week. Frida won't do anything.

So, interviews and stuff are coming up and tomorrow we'll get the first reviews of the songs.
There's a big interview by BWO on Expressen and I have to say Alexander's getting a bit too big-headed. Apparently 'Lay Your Love On Me' is completely designed for Belgrad and with this song it'll be a piece of cake to get there. Their costumes are going to be a complete extravaganza.
The song's a mixture of Boney M, Abba and Madonna put into a electro-europop machine. SORT OF. Let's hope it'll live up to Alexander's big words.
Oh, and extravagant costumes by Björk's swan dress designer? Have they learned NOTHING from the Alcastar fiasco in 2005's first heat?
