Oh SILD dont do this to me !
Let's do another CLASSIC
TUPPENCE
TUPPENCE
FEED THE BIRDS
*rubbish Cockney accent*
*jumps through chalk painting*
Mary Poppins... STEP IN TIME
Oh SILD dont do this to me !
It's been too long, it's been too long...
TUPPENCE TUPPENCE, TUPPENCE a BAG
is my FAVE
My godson does it SO WELL !
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Docked a point for the I Love To Laugh scene.
I tried to watch this once a few years ago, but my senile dog did a big shit in the living room, so I had to attend to that.. I always think of dogshit and my dead dog when I think of Mary Poppins
DEFINITIVE:
ESSENTIAL
Madonna Madonna Madonna Madonna Madonna Madonna
Diddy what the HELL is that video? Mary is NOT scary!![]()
MOTIV8 VOCAL SLAM
Anyone who doesn't LOVE this film will probably die alone.
CLASSIC! AMAZING SONGS
Feed the Birds is just wonderful
Men are the toys in the game that you play, When you get tired you throw them away
Better than The Sound Of Music, but also a bit on the long-winded side - there's a huge section the lovely Ms Poppins disappears. Earn that Oscar, bitch!

I knocked a point off for the poor performance of the little boy.
A normal person must
Dismiss you with disgust
And weep for those who trusted you.

Blimey, I'm the only one who didn't like it then?
Never saw it in full, believe it or not. Guess it's time to pop that DVD that's been gathering dust on my mum's shelf into the player at long last.
Or wait till the next Bank Holiday, of course.
Hey go get the doctor
Doctor came too late...
How the FUCK can ANYONE EVER dislike Mary Poppins?
It's a MOTHERFUCKING EXTRAVAGANZA
It just doesn't enamour me![]()
Has anyone seen the stage show? It's quite different to the film and doesn't involve penguins but it's still smashing.
I have. I liked that.
I know this is a proper classic, but ive only ever seen it 1.5 times, i watched it once as a child then half of it as an adult and i really didnt like it.
Im not sure WHY.
It disgusts my friends that i dont love it.
I much prefer the Sound of Music.
Perfect family movie. Spoiled for me a little bit due to overexposure when we bought it for my niece on DVD and then subjected to it for months on end.
And if we stay together
We'll feel the rhythm of the evening taking us up high
Never mind the weather
We'll be dancing in the street until the morning light
I haven't SEEN The Sound Of Music in full, Rachey.![]()

Loses a point for the stupid penguin section.

I've only seen the first half recently as my niece is currentle obsessed but as far as I remember it all goes a bit BLEAK and BANKY towards the end.

Julie Andrews is BEYOND AMAZING in it and for that reason I could watch it many times over but it is TOTALLY let down by the middle section when Australian Dick Van Dyke takes over and it goes all Disney extreme
Some of the songs are ace though
Really should see this in the West End while it's STILL ON
their mum was such a good minor character. Camp as tits. She should have been in it more
I was going to KILL anyone who didn't give it a ten, but it seems there are quite a few of you freaks around, and frankly I don't have the time.
its off on tour SOON though
Jake is literally the best person on this website right now
MARY POPPINS 2: THE REVENGE
Top up, Sue?
I remember going to see this with my mum at the cinema back in the 1980's.
It precedes Brit psychedelia by a couple of years but tea parties, jumping through pavements, flying a kite, dancing and talking penguins, um... feed the birds/tuppence a bag... all seem like one big euphemism for getting stoned.
Julie Andrews is pitch perfect, but really I wish David Tomlinson and Glynis Johns had been my parents.
I've seen the films you've bumped. You're REALLY REALLY GAY.
Top up, Sue?
