Where's Sara Bareilles on albums? It's been REALLY aggressively priced (£6.99 in HMV!) so not going top ten must be a disappointment.

I have the re-issue of Heart Of Gold. The remix they promoted as a single was a bit bland, but there was a good mix on the single with extra vocals and much more oomph.
I am sorry, but that is the worst top ten I have ever seen. Barring Tings Tings and Duffy, and they don't majorly excite me
How is Gabriella Cilmi selling? That song is dreadful, and not even in an inoffensive way. The Sarah Bar____ song cunts me off too. I heard it for the first time in my Dad's car a few weeks ago and just thought it was Paul Gambuccini playing a rubbish song to compliment his rubbish voice, but no it is actually a hit.
These are dark times.
I cannot understand why that Sara Largenose woman has had such a massive worldwide smash with Love Song. In my head I cannot understand why millions of people would want to own that song. Truly bizarre behaviour.

Now that's interesting...I know this album is the stuff of legend and I knew it had been o/p for quite a while but that's still surprisingly high.
Because up until last week, "Viva La Vida" was basically a "free download" on iTunes- if you pre-ordered the album, you got it for free. As a result, they excluded it from the chart...

Jonas Brothers new in to the top 20 with Fall Out Boy climbing in to the top 20. In the top 30 are The Subways and Cage The Elephant (who?) Maroon 5 and Rihanna climb. In the 40 are Billiam and Nickelback. Rockstar is also top 40. Climbing is Flo Rida featuring Timbaland.

Incidentally, the Billiam single, My Generation, is apparently available in 30 different mixes at iTunes, each one of which can be downloaded as a single track download and therefore each version is chart eligible. It shows how ridiculous the rules are considering that format limitations were introduced in 1990 because singles were being released on 10+ verions. However these rules don't apply to single downloads, although there is a restriction on the amount of download bundles that can be counted (it's three).
It's not doing much for the single though, it's currently at #31.
A googolplex - 31 places higher than it should be.
