I've gotten the last couple of issues of Attitude and found them both very readable. If the consensus about it that it's a load of shite? I was rather impressed.
I've not read it regularly for about 12 years, and not at all for a few. It had got pretty shit, but perhaps they have turned it around. Certainly it's a lot more visible now than it was as recently as early this year when I assumed it had just died because I never saw it in newsagents.
I've not bought one for about 6 months now. The basic SPG mistakes in there used to rile me!
I know from a quick glance at the cover in Sainsburys the other day lolly there's a Grace Jones feature.
Fiona Bruce hosts the event, which comes this week from Stoke-on-Trent.

Kanye's is very good. Nothing like his other albums (which are also largely brilliant). Very forward thinking record for a hip hop star to make. Lots of synths and vocoder/autotune. Quite downbeat and melancholy - he lost his mother last year.
Will's is rather good if a bit boring. To be honest I haven't listened to it since release week, so that probably tells you all you need to know.

I think Attitude is better these days. I picked the will young one up, which was my first copy for first time in about a year and it's not too bad. Was goddawful before then though

I've always enjoyed it to varying degrees. When it's good it is a really good read.
They've obviously employed some subs because the spelling and punctuation have got much better. Some of the comedy mistakes they used to print you'd wonder whether even the writers had bothered reading over before submission, let ALONE a third party.

I used to work for the company that now publishes Attitude and lets just say they don't HAVE A CLUE! very much a 'throw everything at it and see what sticks' kind of company, oh and BUDGET!
I actually think they've been better since they had that big scare about folding and moved publishers.

I know the DJ featured on page 135 of the most recent issue. He's very, very good.

Yes. I like Attitude since Matthew Todd took over, and the sub-editing has improved enormously. If they're going to do a Naked issue, they may as well go all the way - the Spanish equivalent Zero has all manner of cocks floating around in an average issue.
