Poor brave "Finer Feelings", usually forgotten and misunderstood, it's indeed a good little tune and a diamond in the rough that is Let's Get to it. I don't think many realize the importance it held in Kylie's career crossroads. The Brothers in Rhythm remix (which was treated as the single version), was the first time Kylie worked with BIR which includes Steve Anderson which is no less than a God-like figure in the Kylie loondom. Very few jumped ship with Kylie from working with her in the PWL/SAW days to crossing over with her into Deconstruction...but what an impact BIR had made on Kylie with just a little remix that didn't really do much magic on the charts missing the top ten, and becoming her biggest flop ever in Kylie's native Australia. Aside from all that though, "Finer Feelings" remains one of her most mature and gorgeous songs to come out from that final era in her PWL days.
